Today we will reveal six other prospects from our updated Pennsylvania Class of 2025 rankings who used the spring grassroots circuit and June live period to increase their recruiting stock.
Below are six southeastern Pennsylvania 2025 stock risers you need to keep an eye on during the upcoming summer grassroots circuit and beyond.
43 to 18… Owen Schlager Owen Schlager 6'3" | CG Trinity | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / Trinity / Philly Pride UAA / Point Guard: Schlager used the momentum from a tremendous high school season (21 ppg. & 4 apg.; Mid-Penn Conference-Capital Division POY) as a springboard for an even more impressive spring. Everyone knows Schlager is a walking bucket (posted a 40-piece in 3A state tourney) but playing with a loaded Philly Pride roster this spring has enabled Schlager to show that he can also facilitate for teammates, run a team, and handle the rock under full court pressure. He holds offers from Stonehill, Quinnipiac, Drexel, and Albany.
40 to 32… Onyx Nnani Onyx Nnani 6'8" | PF Phelps School | 2025 State PA – 6’9” / Sophomore / Phelps School / UPlay-Canada / Wing: Nnani is a breathtaking athlete with speed and significant hops. That trifecta makes him a significant transition scoring threat. Then this spring Nnani (9 ppg.; 4.7 rpg.; 2.5 bpg.) displayed a more polished half-court skill set. He proved to be a more accurate 3-point shooter and showed he could score off baseline drives. Plus, he added dives to the rim and quick post ups to his bag. College coaches have noticed the improvements too as Penn State, St. Joe’s and Oklahoma State recently put out offers to Nnani.
101 to 35…Gabe Tanner – 6’4″ / Perkiomen School / We R1 UAA / Shooting Guard: This two-way perimeter prospect has turned himself into a lights out 3-point shooter and thus skyrocketed up our updated 2025 rankings. In addition to draining triples, Tanner can create opportunities off the dribble for himself and teammates. As a bonus, he is tenacious defender who can turn steals / deflections into easy points. Tanner holds an offer from Bryant.
104 to 49… Carter Wamsley Carter Wamsley 6'7" | PF Eastern York | 2025 State PA – 6’5” / Sophomore / Eastern York / York Ballers / Wing: Wamsley’s (15.8ppg, 10 rpg., 3.6 apg.) significant ascent up our 2025 rankings comes as he continues to prove that he is one of top stretch-4 prospects in the region. Wamsley handles the rock like a guard, has a smooth jumper with 3-point range and can score in the paint via floaters or lay-ins. On the interior he can bully his way to the rim and then score with either hand. Wamsley holds an offer from Towson University.
259 to 64… Zeke Staz Zeke Staz 6'7" | C Downingtown West | 2025 State PA – 6’7″ / Downingtown West / K-Low Elite / Wing: Staz is a high energy stretch-4 who proved in April that he is once again fully healthy. Then in June he unleashed a much-improved offensive game on opponents. His recent outstanding play has made Staz one of the hottest 2025 prospects in the region. Staz is a highly accurate 3-point shooter, can score off dribble drives and via the offensive glass. On occasion Staz will pin a defender on the blocks and score over him. Staz also possesses all the intangibles college coaches love.
149 to 114… KJ Carson KJ Carson 6'0" | CG Haverford School | 2025 State PA – 6’0” / Haverford School / Penn Warriors / Combo Guard: Carson is the type of primary ball handler college programs covet. He is quick, owns circus handles and plays with extreme pace, but he is always under control. Carson (10 ppg.) possesses a pass first mentality and frequently appears to be one step ahead of the opposing team’s defense. When it is time to produce points, Carson’s go to weapon is his automatic jump shot. This spring Carson showed enhanced off the dribble scoring skills. That asset now makes him a 3-level scoring threat.
