The start of June is here with teams getting ready for a big summer AAU season. United AAU had scrimmages on Thursday and players had strong performances. Here are the top standouts from the United scrimmages.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213572' first='Ben' last='Kipnis'], 6'3 SG Holmdel 2024

Kipnis had a strong performance as he was able to put his overall game on display. The 6'3 guard used his lightning quick release on his jumper to get shots off quickly and was able to draw contact on his jumpers from distance. Kipnis made several flashy passes in the halfcourt and showed the ability to put the ball on the floor at times. He used his length to be disruptive defensively and moved well without the ball in his hands. Kipnis' stock will be on the rise if he continues to play like he did at the scrimmages.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464421' first='Steve' last='Donahue'], 6'3 SG Montgomery 2024

Donahue had a standout performance as he put an all-around performance during the scrimmages. The 6'3 guard finished nicely around the basket as he was able to get to the rim off the dribble and off cuts. Donahue wasted little motion in his jumper and set his feet before he shot. He made smart decisions with the ball in his hands and moved his feet well on the defensive end. Donahue is a tough guard prospect who should have a strong summer with his ability to knock down jumpers from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1412734' first='Luke' last='Kreitz'], 6'0 PG Ridge 2025

Kreitz had a great performance as he showed his ability to control the offense. The 6'0 guard played under control as he was not flustered by on-ball pressure and was able to get to the basket. Kreitz showcased his smooth shooting stroke as he wasted little motion and knocked down jumpers when given space from behind the arc. He made good passes and showed the ability to play off the ball as well. Kreitz's ability to play on or off the ball is something that will help his game nicely over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050398' first='Nick' last='Seeloch'], 5'10 PG Holmdel 2024

Seeloch made plays throughout the scrimmage as he controlled the flow of the game. The 5'10 guard used his handle effectively as he was able to beat his defender off the bounce and get into the paint. Seeloch finished nicely around the basket and was unafraid of drawing contact. He got his teammates involved and shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc. Seeloch is a true point guard whose ability to run the offense will help his game nicely in the summer months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1776769' first='Elisha' last='Brown'], 6'4 SF Franklin 2024

Brown was dynamic throughout the scrimmages as his impact was felt all over the floor. The 6'4 wing played tough on-ball defense as he made it difficult for his man to get to his spot on the floor. Brown used his quick hands to get deflections on defense and influenced shots around the basket with his athleticism. He moved well without the ball in his hands and ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor. Brown is a high-energy wing prospect whose ability to make plays on the defensive end will help his stock in a big way.
