Snead is a really good-looking athlete. He has quality size, strapped with muscle and springy legs. He might not have one elite offensive skill, but his motor and natural gifts allow him to wreak havoc. Tylan averaged 10.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.4 blocks as a sophomore. On Friday against Union County, he ripped off 8 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. He scored on a pair of drives and two turnaround jumpers. Tylan has tools to become an interesting college prospect if he continues to hone his craft.
Stacky has a smooth game. His jump shot looks effortless. Jackson sank three threes on his way to 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a win over Madison County. His length and size make it hard for defenders to contest his shots. Jackson showed off his two-way capabilities, defending extremely well as Mill Creek shutdown the potent Red Raiders offense.
The wiry shooter splashed five threes over a two-game span. Hipps has great confidence in his outside shot and can score the ball in bunches once one shot falls. He is a sniper in the corners and is a threat to spot up in transition. His scoring touch coupled with his size has drawn the attention of multiple D-I schools.
After a frustrating season at Langston Hughes which was hampered by injuries, John McQueen John McQueen 6’5″ | SF Eagle’s Landing | 2024 State GA transferred to McEachern this summer. He showed flashes of his upside, scoring at all three levels and defending inside and out over the course of two games in which he averaged 7.5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1.5 blocks. When McQueen is on, he’s got the strength to score at the rim, isolate from the mid-range and defend multiple positions.
