(Baylor School)
Wonderful passer out of the post. Maybe the best in Tennessee at that particular trait. If the team is hitting three-pointers, then Baylor School is impossible to beat. Shutters is very sound and technical as a classic big man. Catches with two hands. Soft hands. Uses his base well. HE can get even stronger, but he is doing well developing his body and utilizing his body effectively at the high school level.
Cameron Sparks (Baylor School)
Kaleb Davis Kaleb Davis 6'10" | PF Collierville | 2026 State TN (Power Center Academy) was a new find. He is a springy, nimble 6-foot-7ish. Kaleb can really move around the court and he looks like a guy comfortable under the basket. High energy. Enthusiastic. His pedigree is very impressive, and Davis’ siblings are largely playing college sports of some kind.
Houston Hicks Houston Hicks 6'8" | PF Independence | 2024 State TN (Independence) showed much more grit than before. He has come a long way with tenacity and toughness. Still thin. It is more a commitment to contact that is helping him blossom.
Daniel Cochran Daniel Cochran 6'7" | SF Brentwood | 2024 State TN (Brentwood) played with such urgency. He attacked immediately upon the catch. Really quick feet.
Brady Lane (Stone Memorial) provided the black-and-white with necessary toughness and strength under the hallow. A football guy, Lane helped balance out the guard-heavy Stone team.
TK Whitset (Antioch) was steady, as usual.
Griffin Cooper Griffin Cooper 6'8" | PF Columbia Academy | 2024 State TN (Columbia Academy) still is not showing the low post acumen that he should. He is very athletic and strong. The team does not feed him the ball and he does not activate like a traditional big often enough. His impact is always relevent though.
