This is Part II of Countless Sophomores Showed Readiness this Weekend
Burton Cox Burton Cox 5'8" | PG Jo Byrns | 2026 State TN (Jo Byrns) PrepHoopsTN Combine
Crafty. Clever. Cox played the role of creator, innovator at the event. Wily.
Keller Jackson Keller Jackson 6'3" | PF Blackman | 2026 State TN (Blackman) PrepHoopsTN Combine
Keller was a Jack of All Trades. Skilled, adept passer, dribbler, shooter, scorer, rebounder. There is room for Improvement to be sure, but his launchpad is well placed.
Ezra Sixto (Baylor School) – BCAT Team Camp
Ezra is a project, in that he sees almost no varsity minutes right now, but looks the part of a hooper, tall, lean, athletic during warm-ups and in a cameo appearance.
Brick Wissmar (Ravenwood) – BCAT Team Camp
Wissmar gave Ravenwood a different look. He has size and strength. Rebounds with both hands. The team will be able to utilize him as a high screener, if they choose.
Zack Niven Zack Niven 6'7" | PF Trinity Christian Academy | 2026 State TN (Trinity Christian) – BCAT Team Camp
Niven’s style is kind of a Chet Holmgren. Tall, shoots it. Can defend the rim a little bit. Good defensive instincts. An evaluation revelation.
Eric Bryson Jr. (Whites Creek) – BCAT Team Camp
Bryson Jr. played with a very quick first step Friday against Ravenwood. His team was overwhelmed, but clearly he has game. Speedy with and without the basketball.
