Erickson had a big opening game and converted nine three's against Hillcrest. As soon as he hit one shot, it wouldn't stop. He buried four triples in the first half and hit five more in the second. Outside of that, he has a strong build and showed he can defend well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464072' first='Larenz' last='Walters'] - Kankakee 2024

The go-to scoring option for Kankakee. He's not a big point guard, but he makes the big plays point guard's are supposed to make. He opened the weekend with 28 points over Urbana and had 20 points a few hours later against Lincoln-Way East. Walters excelled at creating space with the ball and hit shots all over the floor at a high rate. He also got his teammates involved against Lincoln-Way East and added numerous assists to the stat sheet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545133' first='Makai' last='Kvamme'] - DePaul Prep 2025

Kvamme is a pure floor general that doesn't get enough credit for DePaul's contributions on the floor. While he isn't putting up big scoring numbers, he allows the guys around him to make big contributions. He's truly an unselfish player with a high IQ and terrific ball-handling abilities. DePaul would not have gone 8-0 during the live period without his contributions. No question about it.

Bryce Salek - Yorkville 2024

I really like him for his physical body and athletic abilities. Outside of Jakstys, Salek is another player I like who gets it done on both ends. He was vital in Yorkville's upset win over Whitney Young Saturday afternoon and even showed some bounce with an alley-top finish late in that contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874864' first='Rakim' last='Chaney'] - Auburn 2024

Chaney had a terrific weekend on both ends of the floor for Auburn. Down double digits to Marian Catholic, Chaney made big plays to secure a late comeback. He also showed an ability to shoot consistently. Hitting multiple three's in a string of contests.

[player_tooltip player_id='1285485' first='Richard' last='Lindsey'] - De La Salle 2024

He's an enticing shooting guard with a tremendous build at 6'4" and lots of scoring capabilities. He scored 18 points against Waubonsie Valley Sunday, while showing an ability to hit outside shots score through contact. Lindsey is looking for a big senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545139' first='Jacob' last='Nosek'] - Metea Valley 2025

He probably boosted his stock the most of anyone on this list. Currently raked 68th in his class, don't be surprised if he moves up into the top 20. Maybe even top 10. He's got pro-level size and lath at 6'8" with a wide range of skills. He's got a smooth showing stroke and showed capabilities of scoring consistently anywhere on the floor, even with defenders in his face. He also frustrated opponents defensively and forced difficult shots both inside and on the perimeter. He's more than capable of guarding all five positions. I'm excited to see him with the Illinois Wolves this July.
