A list of impressive prospects from day two at the NHR State tournament:

[player_tooltip player_id='2104550' first='Alex' last='Franson'] -- G -- [program_tooltip program_id='159083' first='SW' last='Minnesota Stars']

I really enjoyed watching Franson play on Saturday. Even though his team was up by a significant margin for most of the game, the guard still played the right way. He passed to teammates, knocked down open shots, and played with effort on defense. Franson certainly brings a lot of skill to the table offensively. He plays with a very high IQ, always seeming to make the play that leads to success. Franson scored 16 points in a victory.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874834' first='Drew' last='Hjelmeland'] -- F -- [program_tooltip program_id='159083' first='SW' last='Minnesota Stars']

To start his team's win on Saturday, Hjelmeland scored a smooth bucket in the post. "This kid is impressive," I thought to myself. Just a couple of plays later, Hjelmeland drove down the lane and threw down a powerful dunk. "This kid is really impressive," I thought to myself. The [program_tooltip program_id='159083' first='SW' last='Minnesota Stars'] forward flashed signs of greatness on Saturday afternoon. He did a great job of using his size to find success in the paint on both ends of the court.

Trevin Prins -- F -- [program_tooltip program_id='159083' first='SW' last='Minnesota Stars']

I really like what Prins brings to the table. On the offensive end of the court, the forward is a dangerous scorer and passer. He has really good touch around the rim and also uses his excellent court vision to find cutting teammates. In the low post, Prins can score or pass out of double-teams. He scored 14 points in the winning effort on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2406631' first='Simon' last='Woodruff'] -- F -- E.A.T Hoops

Woodruff played a great two-way game on Saturday morning. While putting up 14 points, the forward also rebounded the ball and played excellent defense. Using his size and athleticism, I could see Woodruff developing into a really versatile defender. His switchability is what could make him dangerous. Woodruff appears to have the speed to match guards but also the size to slow down bigger post players. I thought that Woodruff did many things well on Saturday. He was certainly worthy of top performer status.

Josh Burczek -- G -- E.A.T Hoops

Burczek ran E.A.T Hoops' offense to near perfection in a big-time win on Saturday morning. The guard did a little bit of everything. He served as a ball handler, scorer, and facilitator. Whenever Burczek had the ball in his hands, E.A.T's coach could be confident that his squad would get off a good shot. Burczek scored 18 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2399405' first='Chris' last='Yeboah'] -- G -- E1T1

E1T1 wasn't able to earn a win on Saturday. But Yeboah's performance won't be forgotten any time soon. Scoring 27 points, the guard was tremendous. He made threes, finished tough layups, and got to the free-throw line and converted on foul shots. The opposing squad had no answers for Yeboah. He scored with ease for the whole game.
