Keller could not be stopped on Saturday, as he scored a game-high 28 points in a win. He scored the ball in a variety of ways and impressed me with the creativity he has with the ball in his hands. He would often go to pump fakes, where he would then take one dribble to the side and shoot a three or step in for a pull-up mid-range. He also showed he could attack the basket with some strong finishes. Hanson was a reliable ball handler for Comets Elite, doing very well when faced with pressure from the defense. The Sauk Rapids guard is going to be key in a deep run this weekend.
Hudson was dominant inside on Saturday in Comets Elite’s blowout win. He was nearly impossible to stop from getting to the basket, being able to finish through multiple defenders at a time. He used his strong 6’2” frame to bump opponents away so he could have room to convert a tough layup. I also liked what the Sauk Rapids 2025 brought on defense, using his length and athleticism to block shots and deflect passes. Towards the end of the game, opponents started to bring more help defenders into the lane, where Omoke would then kick it out for an even better look.

Trevin Prins
Trevin Prins
Trevin is a unique prospect in this 2025 prospect and I really liked the tools that he brings to the table. The strong 6’3” forward showed that he could step out and knock down shots from the outside, as I saw him connect with a catch-and-shoot three in the corner. He found success in the paint, using his exceptional touch to softly lay the ball in, sometimes through traffic. Other traits that stuck out about Prins’ game was his rebounding and accurate passing to cutting teammates.

I really admired the intensity Mohamed played with and it was fun to watch him make his aggressive attacks towards the basket. He had no trouble getting around defenders and did not fear larger players in the paint. He converted a few tough finishes inside, but also drew some fouls to get to the line. The Faribault 2025 made some accurate kick out passes off of his drives as well. Madey has a long lanky 6’4” frame and used that to block and alter opponents’ shots. Loads of potential from the Minnesota Lightning guard.
Alex Franson Alex Franson 6'0" | PG Marshall | 2025 State MN

Alex was flying around the floor on Saturday, making impact plays on both sides of the ball. The 6-foot guard is always giving maximum effort, racing for rebounds, getting on the floor for loose balls, and being a pest defensively. He handled the majority of the ball handling duties for his team, making a difference scoring and facilitating on offense. He showed off his smooth stroke, stretching the floor with a couple three-pointers as well. This has been the second weekend this season where Franson has stuck out to me.
Ethan was a beast inside for MN Lightning, using his physicality to take over possessions on both ends of the floor. He looked comfortable going to work in the post, converting on some tough looks with a hand in his face. Van Schepen also impressed me with his rebounding, being able to use his strong frame to his advantage to grab some boards in traffic. He especially made a difference with the second chance opportunities he created for his team.

Reggie Williams
Reggie Williams
Reggie was fun to watch scoring the ball on Saturday, having the ability to create looks for himself using the dribble. He has a knockdown jump shot and was making the defense pay for not having a hand in his face at all times. He had the green light to pull up from a couple steps beyond the three point line and the Maple Grove 2025 prospect was creative with the ways he could weave through defensive pressure to eventually open himself up for a good shot. Williams is a confident scorer who can heat up quickly.
