Who were the 2025s that I thought played at the highest level this past weekend at the MNBCA camp? Here is our list (if they weren't mentioned in the stock risers article).

[player_tooltip player_id='1574223' first='CJ' last='Calvin Armstrong'] of Richfield (6'1 Guard). When it came to sophomores (juniors to be) and scoring numbers, Armstrong was one of the best in the event. When watching his team, when you would see the ball come up the floor and get to him in transition, or when he pushed in transition, if you saw the defender was not ready for that first attacking dribble you knew a high percentage chance was coming for CJ. Loved the consistency with which Anderson got to a scoring spot in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411178' first='Brayson' last='Boike'] of Dawson-Boyd (6'6 Forward). There is a lot to love about Brayson. We have seen Brayson step into the main scoring role and we have seen him play the role of a worker with good players around him. At this camp, he was both based on the rotation. Brayson will score actively some, use a dribble some, post up a bit, and hit with his feet set. The feel, effort and base skills are there. Brayson shot it well this weekend and if he can shoot it at a high percentage consistently good things will come his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1286547' first='Sam' last='Hondl'] of Albany (6'6 Forward). Sam was on the floor with a lot of dribble creators who used a lot of dribbles so he adapted. Hondl worked his way to spots where he could catch the ball and score in high percentage ways. Most of the time it was going at the rim and collecting off a dump off, a zip, or a pitch. He scored in high percentage numbers taking advantage of what shot attempts might come his way. Worked hard and played the role given.

JJ Sullivan of Eden Prairie (6'1 Shooting Guard). The shooter in Minnesota who I would trust the most right now. There is no over thinking, it's catching and hitting over the top of the defense! There are other things that JJ continues to do well as he is better off the attack than given credit for, but he's an elite shooter. A game changing shooter and we saw it again.

Chace Watley of Totino-Grace (6'1 Point Guard). The best way to describe Chace from this past weekend was dependable. Chace was on the floor with a nice group of forwards and he did a good job of balancing creating opportunities for those forwards, and for mixing in his attack. I like that he made the simple pass, the right pass compared to over dribbling and dumping off when it got tough for him. We saw Chace move the basketball in ways that allowed teammates to have space to make plays. And I loved his willingness to get up into players and defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572689' first='Jalen' last='Wilson'] of Benilde-St. Margaret's (6'6 Power Forward). His post game ranks with the best in the state of Minnesota. Jalen does a marvelous job of staying on balance and using the turn, and using the fakes to lift in a balanced way to the finish. Also thought he did a great job of running the floor this weekend to get chances and his one/two dribble moves against size from the elbow or top of the key produced rim scores as well. Highly productive camp for Jalen.
