Multiple high school events will be taking place in the month of June including the IBCA Top 100 workout, the Charlie Hughes Showcase, plus multiple summer leagues. Prep Hoops Indiana will be out in full force all month watching multiple high schools prospects across the board. Let’s go ahead and take a look at Part 1 of five players from the 2025 class that are on my watch list for the month of June.
With all the spots that are open for Cathedral next season, the most important spot that remains a question is the lead guard role. That is where Gough comes because on paper, he looks to be a shoe-in to be Cathedral’s primary ball handler. Gough plays both sides very well and pairs it well with elite athleticism. He can be a player that can get a bucket too if needed especially around the rim. Gough is due for a breakout here soon.

Mullins continues to prove why he is one of the best 2025s we have in the state. With his tremendous feel and flow for the game, Mullins, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, has elite shooting ability and has improving explosiveness when attacking the basket. Defensively, he can guard multiple areas on that end due to his long size and lateral quickness. Not only am I just a fan of watching him play being the reason I put him on this list, but because he is also attracting many interests and offers from D1’s across the board. He is going to have a big June.

At 6-foot-6, Betten provides bigger size on the wing is known for his scoring ability. He attacks closeouts very well and is at his best when he has the opportunity to finish at the rim. He is a true versatile wing that has an ever improving inside-out game and has been playing well for Grand Park Premier 2025 UAA this AAU season. Many coaches are really starting to pay close attention to what Betten brings, which I think will translate into a really good June. A few breakout game could even get him to that D1 level possibly.
Guess, who has been playing up with George Hill All Indy 2024, is one of the more interesting prospects in the in-state 2025 class due to his excellent physical play and skill level around the basket. At 6-foot-5, Guess plays with a solid motor and attacks the boards really well. At Warren Central, he had to take a little step back in his sophomore year do to playing with Jalen Hooks, but is expected to be their main front court option this coming season. Guess could have a real dominant June and raise his stock.
Briscoe is starting to really make a name for himself due to how great he was in the spring portion of AAU season. As a post player, there may not be a better big in the state that has as great of footwork and court vision as what Briscoe does. He is starting to slim down and add more athleticism already to his massive frame and is continuing to improve his outside game as well. He has racked up a good handful of D1 offers and is proving that he can play at the high major level. Crispus Attucks will run a lot through Briscoe so expect high production from the big man all June.
