Continue ReadingSaw some improvement from Lyman from opening week to Championship week. He still did it all for his team, defending, handling and scoring. He added some versatility to his game however using his left more when beating opponents of the bounce and attacking the rim.
Tomlin established himself as a 3A POY candidate. He has developed a nice mid post game, choosing to either shoot the Flamingo fadeaway or faceup, ripthrough and drive by his defender.
Franklin controlled the pace of the game playing it on his terms. The best prospect at the event showed why. He scored using both his mid range and three point jumper, and showed off impressive R&J athleticism hammering home a few dunks in the Championship game.
Cornachi was one of the toughest competitors at the event. Despite losing the championship game the PG played hard irrelevant of the score. He showed a slick handle with some strong crossovers, and made his share of open threes.
The jitterbug PG had himself a game. Simpson who is usually known for his on ball defense burned up the nets in the Championship game barely threating the rim
Silverado may have the most ballhandlers of any team in the State. Goss showed that he has the ability to be effective both on and off the ball, using his handle and change of pace ability to freeze and seperate from defenders.
