There are so many programs that have been forced to play their young players, but frankly some of these young players are hungry and it looks like they are earning their time. You look at some traditional schools that usually play upperclassmen have some really good young talent. Bingham has some good young players in the pipeline. Westlake has some good young players in the pipeline and even Copper Hills has some good young players in their program. Woods Cross has some solid youngsters, orem has a fleet of youngsters and even Timpview has a roster full of young talent.

Herriman might not have the transfers that other schools have but they did get a new coach in Doug Mecham a vet coach that has a winning track record in 6A and recently at Snow Canyon. This team looks different already as you are seeing a different

Moving to the Beehive State
There are at least 5 players making moves to Utah that will be in the Top 10 in the Class of 2024, 2025 and 2026 and there is no debate about it. These kids have game and these 5 are all D1 kids.
Overview
Utah has some good basketball and as more players have decided to play out of state more colleges have been coming in offering kids because they are more confident that they are offering players that will leave Utah. With a few new coaches at the D1 level across the state there are a few local kids making rosters. Utah State has a few and so does Utah and BYU. Utah Tech has a few but Utah talent is getting deeper and having players have success out of state has really been important. You have a few at UC Irvine, Northern Arizona and even out East. Big July ahead for Utah players looking to play in front of college coaches.
