Coleman has been slowly transitioning into more of a 1, if his play in the league is any indication then the transition is almost complete. Was impressed with how he was able to use the bounce to create for teammates.
Johnson played with a lot of confidence looking like a player that has earned the green light. The sharpshooter was accurate both in catch and shoot and when defenders made the mistake of going under screens.
Only saw Rahem for a short time but he’s stoodout every second I’ve watched him play. Good two way player that did a good job of getting consistent paint touches with the bounce. Has a chance to earn a spot in the upcoming rankings behind his play in the League.
I’m really liking Trotter in his point forward position. He was effective with his ball in hands, putting pressure on the defense with his paint touch abiltiy. I was impressed with his unselfishness as he looked to pass first when he got into the lane, however when he wanted to, he was able to use his physical frame to bully and score around the rim.
Nickerson is a player that is threating for a spot on my all Showtime team as well as Stockriser status. He scored in spurts on Tuesday. He’s a problem when he gets to his left hand, and he packaged that with some sharpshooting ability.
Tolliver was recently a member of my Top 10 Glass Cleaner team and he showed why. He plays with a relentless motor and it is highlighted most by his rebounding ability. The long armed forward won a ton of 50/50 rebounds for a Clark team that has the feel of a 4A contender.
I was really impressed with Bruce’s shooting. The CG has felt like more of a pass first guy to me, however I had no clue that he had a strap like that. He was deadly accurate from behind the line, knocking down a trifecta of threes. He did drop a few dimes as well, and when you add in his passing ability with his scoring, he looks like a player ready to have a breakout season.
I’ve been really impressed with Bass’ offensive development, and he’s been showing it during the league. He has tremendous footwork for a man with his frame, showcasing nimble Euro steps on drives to the rim. With his faceup ability improving, look for him to be one of the biggest stockrisers in his class.
