FABC Camp was the perfect place to catch the latest freshman class in their first varsity action. Most of these guys are months removed from middle school competition but have no problem hanging with their older counterparts. Below are seven names you should get familiar with before the regular season begins.

Jeremy Jenkins | St. Thomas Aquinas

Jenkins is recognized as one of the best players in his class, and he's just scratching the surface of his talent. He's 6'7 with an advanced frame that combines power and strength. The forward knocks down, shoots out to 18 feet, is developing footwork, and attacks defenders of the dribble. It may be a bit early for comparisons, but I see a lot of similarities to Julius Randle's game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2294486' first='Myles' last='Fuentes'] | Riviera Prep

Good luck showing down this ball of energy on either side of the ball. Fuentes is a 6 foot combo guard with a quick and jittery game. He's constantly moving on the floor, which helps him make second chance plays and create turnovers. He's a good ball handler that can beat his man off the dribble and finish in the paint. Fuentes is a solid shooter off the catch. He's a winner that contributed to Riviera's 2023 state championship and won FIBA medals playing up two age groups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396988' first='Kade' last='Manley'] | Mainland

Mainland will have a ton of good guards to watch this year, which may mean a short leash for this athletic guard. Manley comes into his freshman season at 5'11 and is a consistent shooter from the corner three. This may not be his breakout season, but playing with a bunch of guards that garnered buzz during the camp will only help his development.

Jadus Sorhaindo | Berkeley Prep

Sorhaindo isn't your normal freshman. He clocks in at 6'7 220 pounds, with an advanced feel for the game. With his size and strength, he could force offense. Instead, he balances making plays for others with his inside scoring. He runs the floor, plays with physicality, and rebounds his area. His motor allows him to be a positive two way player.

Michael Vilmenay | Westwood Christian

Vilmenay is an electric shot maker. The 5'9 guard bombed threes off the dribble. It's nothing but quick movements, and scoring looks when Vilmenay catches the ball. He has a tight handle, a quick release, and tons of moves off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2804148' first='Jermaine' last='Agyeman'] | Westwood Christian

Agyeman is a 2028 prospect, but he deserves some recognition despite playing limited minutes. He's a 6'9 forward who projects as a wing and is more of a four with wing skills right now. He's a fluid athlete with great length and a ton of upside. A year of varsity and practicing against a team with two 6'10 big could fast track him.
