Here is the All-Tournament Seven Team:
AJ Anderson AJ Anderson 6'0" | PG Paradise Valley | 2025 State AZ Paradise Valley
A scoring lead guard who has grown two to three inches recently. He has a shifty handle that allows him to get to the rim and create some separation. He can hit the catch three with a very fast release and is very quick on the ball defensively.
Aiden Castanon Aiden Castanon 6'4" | SF Paradise Valley | 2024 State AZ Paradise Valley
A newcomer for me is a wing forward scorer. He shoots it with a super quick release from the three point line. He will score thru contact on the break and plays with a huge IQ to always be on the correct spot on the court. He plays good fundamental defense.
Deven Chhabra Deven Chhabra 6'4" | SF Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ Phoenix Country Day
A long scoring guard is a catch and shoot three point specialist for the Eagles. He has a quick trigger and spots up every time the same way and release. He has long arms to play the passing lanes on defense and rebounds in his area.
Zach Cutler Zach Cutler 6'3" | SF AZ College Prep | 2026 State AZ AZ College Prep
A scoring guard is a catch and shoot three point gunner with a super quick release. He has a good feel to push the ball up the court to make plays. He often cuts for easier scores and he will be more effective each season and probably next year will be his breakout year when the 2024 players graduate.
Josh Igdanes PF 6’2 2024 NVCA
An under the rim power forward who is very productive in every game. He has a wider frame, long arms and real strength to push his opponents around. He grabs out of area rebounds with sheer hustle and will defend bigger players inside and on the perimeter. He can hit a catch three and work inside.
Mason Kendrick Mason Kendrick 6'2" | SG Arcadia | 2026 State AZ Arcadia
A rising sophomore is an all-around scorer. He was raining threes in one game I viewed and can pull-up from mid-range. He is fast on the break with a quick first step and he often cuts to the rim for easy points. He will defend from inside and out on the perimeter.
Justice Moore Justice Moore 6'3" | PF AZ College Prep | 2025 State AZ AZ College Prep
A strong power forward can be a rebounder and shot blocker. He scores mostly around the basket and uses his upper body strength to bang inside with bigger players. He plays way taller than his height suggests, runs the court and provides energy and a motor to the team.
Brandon Stapleton Brandon Stapleton 6'4" | CG Chandler | 2026 State AZ Chandler (Pictured)
A good sized combo guard has grown and does a little bit of everything. He rebounds the ball well for position and can take the ball off the glass and go coast to coast. He will drive and kick it to a shooter and score on catch triples and transition buckets. He can blow by his opponents and is a tough on-ball defender.
Elijah St. Onge Elijah St. Onge 6'1" | PG Hamilton | 2024 State AZ Hamilton
A little taller point guard has gotten stronger since my last viewing and runs the team. He is a better defender and handles heavy ball pressure well. He has a good first step to get into the paint and will often drive and kick it as he gets the ball out of his hands quickly. He can hit the catch three in rhythm and plays with a good pace.
Yak Ngang Yak Ngang 6'4" | SF Premier Prep Tucson | 2024 State AZ Pueblo
A long wing forward plays the game from the neck up. He can shoot the three off the catch and is a point forward type. He handles the well and defends multiple positions with his length and smart approach.
