2025 Player Rankings: Stock Risers

He literally shoots it from beyond the volleyball line with an ultimate green light and a quick release. He sprays the ball around the court to teammates with his pinpoint passing making him a fun watch. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1595011' first='Mateo' last='Sullivan'] <strong>Goldwater</strong> +50 <strong>(Pictured)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the many pleasant surprises in the last two months was Mateo. He has improved almost more than anyone in the state. He grew a couple inches or so from last viewing and is polishing up his skill seemingly over night. His skill from mid to the three jumps out and he still can work inside and score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1366585' first='Makai' last='Frazier-Taylor'] <strong>Hamilton</strong> +40</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A tough and quick combo guard with real open court speed. The lefty is quick with and without the ball. He can shoot the three, rise up from mid-range and get downhill. His speed and skill are standing out recently. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1286023' first='Ryan' last='Burbach'] <strong>Brophy Prep </strong>+35</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the top shooters in the class with good size for position. He squares up flawlessly and lets it go. He has one of those strokes that look good every attempt. He keeps growing each season and has length and is becoming more athletic. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1770295' first='Will' last='Jenson'] <strong>Brophy Prep </strong>+32</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A long power forward with a high motor and a good touch around the rim. He will occasionally face up to the three point line but makes most of his money inside the paint. He has grown his game and height. He towers over most with his size and length and alters and/or blocks a lot of shots in his area. He rebounds well and he is moving better than last year. He has good range and gets the ball out of his hands quickly. He also showed that he can be a very good on-ball defender. He shoots it with the best of them from the three point line. He can rattle them off with a quick trigger and deep range. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
