2025 Player Rankings: Newcomers

With 222 players, there is bound to be some new talent that was eventually going to be discovered.   There were 21 new players and here are some of the standouts.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Here are 9 newcomers from the last two months:</h2>   [player_tooltip player_id='1950902' first='Ayumu' last='Lara'] Sahuaro   A combo guard who is a natural scorer from all three levels. He also comes with a good feel for the game to make plays for teammates. He can shoot it from both levels plus get to the basket with a burst.   [player_tooltip player_id='1950128' first='Michael' last='Robertson Jr'] AZ Compass Prep   A good sized scoring guard can shoot it with the best of them. He has long arms and quicker feet to play the passing lanes and defend but its his offense is why you are intrigued with him. He has a quick shooting release from the three point line and it looks good every attempt.   [player_tooltip player_id='1951002' first='Wade' last='Eshom'] Vista Grande   A tough two-way post player who brings legit size, length and a motor. He rebounds, blocks shots and runs the floor. He brings a physical approach to the game and plays with real energy. He will score inside among other post players.   [player_tooltip player_id='1950118' first='Jeremiah' last='Robertson'] Casteel   An active four-man runs the floor and moves like a wing. He can defend multiple positions on the court and score from inside and out. He can shoot it from the perimeter plus score in the paint with good post footwork.   [player_tooltip player_id='1986806' first='Gabriel' last='Briones'] Cesar Chavez   One of the many stand out Chavez players looking to make a deep 6A playoff run. He is tough, skilled and highly competitive. He will defend many positions and play hard every possession. He can score from all levels and him and Clontz form a tough 2025 guard tandem.   [player_tooltip player_id='1986807' first='Braylen' last='Rooney'] Arcadia   A top football prospect plays QB for the Titans but also is very good on the hard court. He has elite hands and advanced post footwork to score inside. He is also capable of hitting perimeter jumpers. His stick-em-like hands allow him to rebound anything in his area.   [player_tooltip player_id='1950665' first='Hyrum' last='Donaldson'] Cibola   One of the tallest and longest post players in the class locally. He has unusually long arms to block shots or corral rebounds at its highest point and moves swiftly down the floor. He wont be that 20 point scorer yet but shows flashes with put backs and scores around the rim.   [player_tooltip player_id='1950137' first='Dylan' last='Stanley'] Cibola   A versatile well-rounded combo guard is tough and skilled. He can play with the ball in his hands and is comfortable off of it as well. He can score it by slithering into the lane and scoring in traffic or hit perimeter jumpers. He will make players around him better and show high effort on defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='1950903' first='Cody' last='Lorentzen'] Mica Mountain   A physical, strong upper bodied power forward brings his lunch pail. He works best closest to the basket and seems to handle contact better then most. He will bang with taller players and score it effectively in the trenches with his good hands and footwork.
