Although I was only able to attend a day, a number of standouts emerged. This is the second and final report.
Kannon Seals, 5-3 2027 PG, West Coast Elite 15u National
Seals was the smallest player on the floor but had arguably the biggest impact for his team. He’s a crafty and skilled point guard who makes excellent passing reads to cutters and operates well out of the pick-and-roll, stretching the floor with range that is well beyond the college three.
Jayden Gray Jayden Gray 6'0" | CG Victory Christian Academy | 2026 State CA-S , 6-0 2026 G, West Coast Elite 15u Gray
Gray, the San Diego co-freshman of the year, was up to his high-scoring ways in blowout wins. The physically built combo guard is a three-level scorer and has underrated court vision out of the pick and roll. He made a couple of weak-side lift passes to shooters that were eye opening
Jordan Walker, 5-6 2026 G, West Coast Elite 15u Gray
Walker is the energy guy for the WCE team, coming into the game and creating turnovers with his full-court defense. Offensively, he has excellent burst to get into the paint and is an excellent drive-and-kick passer and a solid shooter as well.
Ezekiel Walker Ezekiel Walker 5'10" | PG Maranatha Christian | 2026 CA-S , 5-10 2026 SG, West Coast Elite 15u Gray
As far as shooters go, Walker is one of the best in the gym. He gets his feet set and shoulders squared to the basket and has a lightning quick release, which allows him to get his shot off in tight quarters. I love his ability to attack closeouts and knock down one-dribble pullups. Additionally, Walker has suprrising length that suggests he isn’t done growing.
Ben Gavani, 6-6 2024 F, California Select 17u
Gavani has played well for California Select this spring, and showed flashes of it this weekend. The face-up four man was a dominant paint presence in the Friday games, blocking shots and rebounding it at a high clip. Gavani also can hit the open-mid range jump shot consistently.
Greyson Mundis, 6-0 2024 G, West Coast Elite San Diego 17u Elite
An absolute pit bull on defense, Mundis continues to show growth on offense. In his team’s win, he connected on shots from every level, including some excellent finishes through contact. Mundis has one of the best motors in the gym, as he always gives maximum effort on both ends.
