#1 [player_tooltip player_id='1176300' first='Kenyon' last='Aguino'] | PF | Volcano Vista: Arguably the top player in New Mexico. No one is a better post-player than [player_tooltip player_id='1176300' first='Kenyon' last='Aguino'] on both blocks around the basket. He easily has some of the best footwork, skills and polish around the basket. He is just as gifted as a rebounder and shot blocker. [player_tooltip player_id='1176300' first='Kenyon' last='Aguino'] is largely responsible for Volcano Vista's success the last two season's winning back to back 5A State Championship's. He was also recently named the 2022-23 New Mexico Gatorade Player of the Year.

#2 [player_tooltip player_id='1176301' first='Latavious' last='Morris'] | PG | Atrisco Heritage: It is incredible that [player_tooltip player_id='1176301' first='Latavious' last='Morris'] is only going to be a junior next season. The reason I say that is because, [player_tooltip player_id='1176301' first='Latavious' last='Morris'] plays high school basketball like a seasoned veteran. He is a shifty, quick and athletic scoring guard that plays above the rim. He is at his best with the basketball in his hands and Atrisco Heritage will go as far as he's going to take them these next two years.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id='1685484' first='Joe' last='Jack'] | G/F | Albuquerque Academy: Over the course of the 2022-23 season, [player_tooltip player_id='1685484' first='Joe' last='Jack'] continued to prove why he was a top ten player in the state and a conversation can be made that he will be a top five player going into next year. He checked all the boxes for what a superstar looks like in terms of high school basketball. Not only did he lead Albuquerque Academy to their first 4A State Championship in 27 years, but he showed up time and time again especially in the playoffs when his team needed him most. He also made his teammates better throughout the season as Albuquerque Academy had a trio of others who were just as deadly offensively.

#4 [player_tooltip player_id='1124238' first='Elijah' last='Brody'] | F | West Mesa: A matchup nightmare for opposing guards and big men. He is much stronger and to big for guards to matchup against him and he is to quick for big men to guard him. [player_tooltip player_id='1124238' first='Elijah' last='Brody'] has stellar footwork, has a nice spin-move to his arsenal and has great post-skills on both blocks. He relishes when he puts his head down and finishes with consistency through the contact. He can play positions 1-5 and with his football background, is a tremendous athlete on both ends of the floor. He averaged nearly a double-double this year and led the West Mesa Mustangs in scoring during his first season with them via transfer.

#5 [player_tooltip player_id='1225905' first='Marquise' last='Renfro'] | SG | Atrisco Heritage: Arguably the top two-way player heading into the 2023-24 season next year. [player_tooltip player_id='1225905' first='Marquise' last='Renfro'] reminds you a lot of ABC Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='1076701' first='Judah' last='Casaus'] because of his ability and effort on the defensive end of the floor. The comparisons don't stop there, he's super athletic and quick in the open floor. Very few players can dominate and take over a game on both sides of the floor the way that [player_tooltip player_id='1225905' first='Marquise' last='Renfro'] can.
