One of few big time players in the Class of 2023 playing on a high level circuit that remains unsigned. Brock has garnered attention from various programs. The kid is built and ready to make an impact at the JUCO level right away. He tracks the ball well and hauls in rebounds He has a great motor and he runs the floor very well. He is usually on the receiving end of a fast break dunk at least once a game with the way he runs the floor. Brock is posting nearly a double-double a game and racks up at least 2 to 3 block a game. Has some good options but this kid is a high level get. He has been having a stellar Spring.
Owen is next level for sure. With his leaping ability and shot making ability. Owen has transitioned from playing at a high level off the circuit, to learning how to get to his stuff on the circuit. Owen has been finding way to be effective out on the floor. That includes hitting catch and shoot open three’s and attacking the rim and converting as well as creating for his guys on dives and spot ups. He is getting low and defending at a high level.
Solid Spring for this strong and stocky PG that has been able to use that strength to control that tempo and protect with his handle. Love that he is getting the ball up the floor quickly. His finishing continues to improve around the rim and he is not phased by the contact at all. Kid is strong and can absorb contact. Shooting ability is great as he is always ready to make teams pay for going under on screens.
Highlights
Really been impressed with the pace and playmaking ability you get from Evan. He is looking to find his teammates all over the floor. Most impactful aspect of his game is his passing ability he knows how to create and dish it open players on drop offs and skip passes hurting the help side defender. He has that lead pass up the floor down to a science. His shooting is great but does not rely on shooting from deep or settle. He will be a player to keep an eye on at Riverton as he will help fill in at the guard position.
