Eoin Dillon Eoin Dillon 6'8" | C Peoria Notre Dame | 2024 State #294 Nation IL (Peoria Notre Dame) 6’9 IL Wolves
Eye opening weekend for Dillion. Pick and pop big that hit his fair share of threes. Eoin scores well in the post also showing excellent touch and feel with his back to the basket. What I liked a lot about Dillon was how well he ran the floor. He dunks when around the cup and is a good rim protector on defense. He was very consistent the whole weekend which led to a few D1 offers.
Dekwon Brown Dekwon Brown 6'4" | PG Simeon | 2024 #273 Nation IL (Peoria) 6’1 Denard Bros. Pro
Brown is maturing at the PG position. He showed he’s able to make the players around him better. Dekwon played well off ball screens driving and kicking the right way. As he got others involved that opened things up for him to score as he easily gets points with one on one coverage. Already had picked up D1 offer this week.
Cooper Koch Cooper Koch 6'8" | PF Metamora | 2024 State #81 Nation IL (Peoria Notre Dame) Iowa 6’9 Indiana Elite
The future Hawkeye showcased his shooting and post presence this weekend. Koch played great hitting several shots from beyond the arc. Cooper is very strong in screen and pop sets. He makes teams pay if they stay locked in on guard penetration. Koch made several clutch shots when his team needed him the most. Potential #1 player in the state?
Justus McNair Justus McNair 6'3" | SG Joliet West | 2024 State IL (Joliet West) 6’3 Team Y&R
McNair gets out well in transition and makes teams pay with his speed and bust at the rim. Justus is a three level scorer that can beat guys off the dribble with a quick first step. He has excellent body control to maneuver around shot blockers with ease. He was just handed the keys to his HS program so I expect to see a major jump in his productivity.
Meyoh Swansey Meyoh Swansey 6'3" | SG Thornton | 2024 State IL (Romeoville) 6’4 Wisc. Playground UAA
Swansey made a living this weekend on mixtapes. The explosive guard was seen catching bodies or dunking on defenders. Swansey is a volume scoring threat who can make plays at the rim but is more effective from the mid-range. He was at his best when running lanes in transition finishing plays. Meyoh should get several calls after his body to body dunks went viral this weekend.
Calvin (CJ) Worsham (Christ The King) 6’7 Denard Bros. Pro
Calvin is one of the few players that will soon be on top of coaches radar if he continues to play how he did this weekend. CJ did some things you just don’t see as much from players with his build. As a strong forward Worsham snatched rebounds several times and pushed it on fast breaks only to go coast to coast for buckets. He is matchup problem because he’s physical in the paint but also has a good shooting stroke. His motor and ferocious nature helps him stand out on the court. Will have many D1 schools on him before travel season is over.
Will Gonzalez Will Gonzalez 6'5" | SF Curie | 2024 State IL (Riverside Brookfield) 6’5 Team Y&R
Gonzalez spent this weekend proving he can be a reliable scoring threat. Will is a 6’5 guard who shot the ball well the whole weekend. He is a very underrated passer at his size but we shouldn’t be surprised because he is the PG for his high school squad. Gonzalez has good college length that he uses it to impact things on defense. His best basketball is still ahead of him. D1 schools have been monitoring him for a while it’s time for someone to offer.
Angelo Ciaravino Angelo Ciaravino 6'6" | SF Mt. Carmel | 2024 State #160 Nation IL (Mount Carmel) 6’5 IL Wolves
Angelo is a bigger wing whose versatility for the position makes him an appealing prospect. Ciaravino is a tactical slasher. He cuts off scrambles and bad switches that defenses make. He is able to score around the rim and from behind the arc. His best moment this past weekend was in transition when he connected on several dunks and layups. Angelo at this stage is a Low to mid prospect who will continue to flourish on the UA circuit.
Chris Riddle Chris Riddle 6'5" | SF Kenwood | 2024 State #204 Nation IL (Kenwood) 6’5 Mac Irvin Fire
Riddle is a strong wing that gets the job done. He’s an exceptional shooter from deep, but is more intimidating when he’s attacking the bucket with reckless abandon. Chris has good feel around the rim and does a nice job at rebounding on both ends of the court. A D1 prospect who is still not as heralded as he should be. Mid major schools should be on him on his physical ability alone.
