While many ranked players are making headway, there’s some unranked players using their play to vie for future rankings spots. Here’s a quick look at some of the unranked prospects poised to break into the next rankings.
Grayson got on the radar with strong performances in the Spring Valley Spring League. His next step it to repeat it during grassroots season, before performing well for the Longhorns during June HS month.
Wiley has popped the few times I’ve seen him. I like that he plays fast. He has shown the he can score the ball, as well as find teammates and distribute. Has shown the ability to make some solid passes while on the move, a trait of high level point guards.
Lewis is a player I desperately want to see in the Spring Valley Team Camp. He’s a tremendous athlete that looks like he’s just scratching the surfice of his potential. The bouncy high flyer not only has the opportunity to enter the rankings, but perhaps be one of the highest risers.
Preston is a player I’m defintely looking to see more of. The PG plays with some wiggle and a lot of confidence. The big hearted, hard nosed PG, can get to the bucket and has shown the ability to play through contact.
A program is starting to take shape at Silverado. Golmebski could be a nice addition for the 4A runners up. He’s got the ability to play both inside and outside, and has flashed some peritmeter skill potential.
Harrington’s length will certainly provide him the opportunity to receive a look. The athletic wing, is raw clay, but with tremendous upside. He and his explosive leaping attention may even draw scouts and coaches attention before he reaches rankings status.
I’m a huge fan of glue guys, and I’m looking for Arrelano to be one of the top ones. The do it all wing, is the type of player impacting games, without necessarily scoring. He has good size and he’s able to use it defend bigs, or hedge and switch out on perimeter players in P&R action.
