Joey Fretheim Joey Fretheim 6'3" | SG Mounds View | 2024 State MN of Northstar Titans (Mounds View). This is a young man that is starting to score on the same level of some of the other top Mustangs we’ve seen go through the program recently and we are starting to believe, the sky is the limit for this worker.
De’Von Irvin of Real Phenom (DeLaSalle). Ball pressure, making the right play, hitting the open shot. That is what Irvin does and he does it on repeat every night. He does it without many mistakes every night. And De’von does it with consistent positive numbers every night.
Jacoby Mehrman Jacoby Mehrman 6'4" | PG Harrisburg | 2024 State SD of Sanford Sports Academy (Harrisburg). One of the best passers I have seen this 17u season so far. Not just the guy who understands where and when the ball needs to go, but the guy that consistently delivers without turnovers. Delivered three wins this weekend.
Amory Peterson Amory Peterson 6'3" | SG Champlin Park | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Rush (Champlin Park). The Rush is as consistent as a Few Good Men on a rainy night. That’s a quote stolen from Jon Rothstein but it applies here. Amory is consistent and he’s become a guy that plays the right way leading his team to wins.
JT Rock JT Rock 7'1" | C Sioux Falls Lincoln | 2024 #37 Nation SD of Sanford Sports Academy (Sioux Falls Lincoln). On a balanced team Rock rebounded more in some games than others and he scored more in some games than others. But what Rock always did was block shots or contest shots. Every time down the floor he took away scoring angles and opportunities.
Desmond Ware Desmond Ware 5'10" | PG Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2025 State MN of Real Phenom (Robbinsdale Armstrong).. Ware’s ball pressure and his ability to pass the basketball were glaring standouts this weekend as Real Phenom won all four games. He also hit four first half threes leading his team over SSA.
