Prep Hoops was at the NorCal Spring Showcase held at Chabot College on Saturday May 13. More than 40 teams participated in the 15, 16,17 levels. We have more prospects from the 2024 class who we thought played well at this event.

He's a pass first point guard with good handles, and vision to see the court in transition or in the half-court. He can penetrate and dish using no looks and dump offs to bigs in the paint. He has the foot speed to stay with ball handlers and does a good job of helping off ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1510772' first='Lukas' last='Winn'] 6'5 W/F, Lakeshow 17's Gonzalez, Castro Valley HS

He's a long prospect that works for rebounds on both ends. He's long with good stride hustling back and forth in transition. He seems to be more effective closer to the basket. He jumps well with good balance going after rebounds, and taking it up for points in the paint. He had a couple of drives along the baseline for points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1510775' first='AJ' last='Loustau'] 6'5 W/F, Lakeshow 17's Gonzalez, Berkeley HS

He's a long armed prospect with a jump shot he can hit from the corners and around the free throw. He can put it on the floor for jumpers off the dribble. He'll run to fill lanes in transition. He has the length to help rebound and defend in the post and on the perimeter. He had a couple of inside buckets cutting and slipping inside to score. He gives a good effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='1803790' first='Theo' last='Lamb'] 6'9 Forward, Bay City Warriors 17u, St. Ignatius HS

Lambs a big body, that looks like he's on his way to being a prospect that can hit the 3ptr from the top, and go down into the low post and get a bucket. He looks to put up 3's early from the top if open. He's a good passer at the top to move the ball from one side to the other. He'll set good screens. He has good size and decent foot work to score when on the block.

[player_tooltip player_id='1383578' first='Nick' last='Corbett'] 6'7 PF, SF Work Hard Play Hard 17, Bellarmine College Prep HS

Corbett is a big body power forward who works well inside the paint area. He has the body, and toughness to handle the bumping and banging that goes on. He has patience, foot work, and touch in the paint. He has some paint presence on defense, he'll get rebounds, defend his position, pass and screen. He did hit the free throw jumper.
