Next Step 3SSB

For the past 5-10 years teams have been playing in qualifier tournaments called Gold Circuits through Adidas. Last Season UBC Elite sent a team to the 3SSB Championships in South Carolina which really put them up against teams that can really play at a high level. This year Utah will have a lot more teams representing Utah in South Carolina.

SUSA 17U

Southern Utah Sports Academy will be taking a team that is deep and has high level playing experience. They will be lead by Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT the Dixie High School big man that is one of the top rebounders on the gold Circuit out West. Jordan Roberts Jordan Roberts 6'0" | PG Dixie | 2024 State UT is also leading the Circuit in assist as he is dishing out 10 a game. Logan Weidauer Logan Weidauer 6'5" | SF Dixie | 2024 State UT has also been a key contributor out there and now they will put it out on the line against whoever they draw.

Utah Gold 17U

1st year program is on a great run. Although a lot of these players have played with each other before they did form a new team with new pieces. Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT , Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'2" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT and Tanner Davis Tanner Davis 6'5" | PG Sky View | 2024 State UT have found a lot of success playing with each other. Ace is a fast ball, Tiger Cuff Tiger Cuff 6'2" | CG American Fork | 2024 State UT is a change up and Tanner Davis Tanner Davis 6'5" | PG Sky View | 2024 State UT is a slider. These guys have been excellent this year. Brock Felder Brock Felder 6'8" | SF Parowan | 2023 State UT , Carter Doleac Carter Doleac 6'8" | PF Alta | 2024 State UT and Blake Rawson Blake Rawson 6'8" | PF American Fork | 2024 State UT have been super tough holding it down in the paint. Out on the wings Chris Cox Chris Cox 6'7" | SF Phhoenix Prep | 2024 State AZ and Zach Fisher Zach Fisher 6'6" | CG Davis | 2024 State UT provide shooting and slashing. This team is tough. We hope they have a great run. They played some big time talent all over the country already. They have beaten some Shoe Teams already too.

UBC Elite 16U

This team has a lot of players that can spread the floor. Cale Barclay Cale Barclay 6'8" | PF Herriman | 2025 State UT , Jaxon Soto Jaxon Soto 6'0" | PG Olympus | 2025 State UT and Charlie Smith Charlie Smith 6'5" | SG Bountiful | 2025 State UT . Smith has some nest level shooting ability. Excited to see what this team can do as they have some players that have talent and they play well together.

Utah Gold 15U

This 15U team is good but they have yet to scratch the surface on how much talent they have on the team. We like what we are seeing from Tyler Mortensen Tyler Mortensen 6'2" | CG Corner Canyon | 2026 State UT and Dash Reiser Dash Reiser 5'9" | CG Alta | 2026 State UT . Caden Jackson Caden Jackson 6'0" | CG Olympus | 2026 State UT is tough and they are getting great production from William Openshaw William Openshaw 6'8" | SF Timpview | 2026 State UT and Callen Tollestrup. Stay tuned because this team might surprise a few teams in the 3SSB.
