David plays as if he’s been around the game his whole life. He carries himself like a college ready PG always surveying the court looking to find teammates. Cundiff played well off ball screens and has enough wiggle in his game to attack guys off the dribble and get to the rim. He is very poised and has a nice-looking shot that matches his demeanor.

Mitch had a breakout shooting performance in the morning game when his team needed him the most. Down 5 with under 2 minutes. Humphrey nailed two big threes to give his team a lead after being down the majority of the game. Mitch has been consistent throughout the weekend, and he stepped up when his team needed him the most.

Speedy guard that proved he is understanding the game better. Ike got to the rim often on fast breaks after getting numerous steals. He has quick hands and great instincts to cover ground from sideline to sideline. Another improving aspect of his game has been how in control he’s been in the half court. Ike has moved the ball and attacked when the defense has a slight opening. He elevates on his mid-range and knocks it down more so than not. He had an awesome showing in two games on Sunday.

Webster caught my eye on Saturday, but I was able to watch him closely on Sunday. He is a knockdown volume shooter that gets hot fast. In the morning game vs. Indiana Game Webster started slow and his FVV squad was down, but by the second half he was back on track. Hitting 4-7 from three for a strong come from behind win. Jaden is a gamer and we expect to hear more of him going into June.
Anthony Murphy 6’2 2025 (Indiana Game) Michigan City HS (IN)
Liked what I saw from Brown. He started out with a three from the corner but didn’t settle shooting long shots as he proceeded to drive to the rim using his athleticism and long length to rise above defenders for smarter buckets. Anthony has an old school feel for the game. If one thing doesn’t work he tries another approach. Brown is a bouncy guard who competes on both sides of the ball. He was also often seen battling on the boards.

Brooks had another stat stuffing game on Sunday. He started out the gate with a three pointer and then started to attack off the dribble and score around the rim the rest of the way. Al is super long and uses it to his advantage if it’s scoring, rebounding, or blocking shots he is very active consistently in those categories. Brooks Jr finished with a pretty impressive stat line of 28 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Something we have grown accustomed to him doing playing a year up level wise.

Lappin to me has been the most consistent player all weekend. There wasn’t a game where Sam didn’t hit shots at a high rate. In the last game of the day Sam went on a tear as he scored 8 straight points. Lappin has a quick trigger from deep but isn’t restricted to just launching bombs. He was seen hitting turnaround floaters and jumpers. When getting to the cup he protects the ball well and keeps his focus on the target. Sam has put himself in the stock risers conversation after having four strong games this weekend.

Baldwin saw his first piece of action this weekend with Team Rose and it was a solid showing for him. Jurrell is a big forward who can put the ball on the deck like a guard at times. He takes bigger players off the dribble going through contact with ease. When players give him room he’s able to hit the shot. Baldwin proved that he’s a capable rebounder and also capable of making strong outlet passes or even push the break if needed. Already holds a couple of offers, look for Jurrell to flourish on this Team Rose squad.
