Robinson was definitely a winner this weekend with the Motor City Grizzliez 2024 squad. He’s been a more than reliable scorer and he was again posting at least 3 double digit scoring games. Robinson’s offensive output was highlighted by a 24 point game. Even better was the fact that he looked good distributing the ball as well.
Swartz was a standout player for Michigan Unified. Swartz had at least 3 double digit scoring games notching 16 points, 13 points and 11 points. He’s proved to be a tough matchup utilizing his positional size and strength. Swartz can effectively shoot over top many defenders and can muscle many as well.
Highlights
Googins had a solid grassroots season last year and he looks like he’s ready to do it again. He had an impressive 16 point game and a lights out 20 point game. In the 20 point game, he came up with the biggest of big shots and drilled the game winner. Googins can score athletically as well as with his jumper.

It could be argued that Cargill had one of the biggest weekends in the state. His play put him on a lot of radars for sure. Cargill was flat out dominant offensively, always seeming to have a step on his defender. He had a solid 13 point game, a great 23 point game and ansolutely went off scoring 34 in another contest.
Speiser is doing nothing short of proving his ranking wrong. The weekend was a continuation of a more than solid spring. His performances were highlighted by a game in which he led his Michigan Goonies team with 22 points. Speiser scored in a variety of ways and from multiple spots on the floor.
