The Hustle Region Classic featured plenty of competition in the 17U division. There were a number of guys that got it done from the two and three spots on both ends of the floor. Here's a look at some of the wings we watched on Saturday and Sunday.

Jaden Sweeney, Showtime 17U (2024 Oak Grove) - Apart from his team's performance at the event, there was no question that individually Sweeney caught plenty of attention. Talking to both team coaches and college coaches that were in attendance, the 6-foot-4 swingman's name was often brought up as one of the top guys over the weekend. He's a good athlete with a strong build, showing that he can really drive and finish at the rim but also knock down threes on a consistent basis.

Ray Wiggins, No Fear Elite 2024 (2024 Venture Academy) - With his 6-foot-5 size and body type, you would have thought Wiggins was a power forward. Instead, the rising senior proved to be a wing with his ball-handling and shooting skills. In the first game we saw him play, he caught fire from three-point range early and his touch at all three levels was solid.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450963' first='Dylan' last='Jay'], BDH Elite 2024 (2024 Chelan) - We didn't get a chance to see as much of Jay as we wanted to, but what we saw we liked. He's a shooter with good size at 6-foot-4 that understands the game and knew how to get to the right spot for the best results, whether it was for the catch-and-shoot or using a couple of dribbles for the pull-up. He showed that he could finish at the rim in transition as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1495286' first='India' last='Mohiuddin'], PA 17U (2024 Sheldon) - Mohiuddin had a spectacular tournament, mostly due to the fact he barely missed any shots. Whether it was knocking down open threes or converting an athletic drive to the hoop, the rising senior had it locked on automatic for most of Saturday and Sunday. He's an underrated athlete that showed interest in making plays on defense as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1110590' first='Kayin' last='Turner'], ProTech (2024 Sunset) - Turner operated mostly from the perimeter, capably hitting open and step-back threes or taking it strong to the hole and converting through contact. The rising senior didn't just gun the ball either as he looked for open teammates, especially in transition. Turner is a good athlete who is a rare talent in the state of Oregon that can hit shots from deep and fly in for a two-handed slam in the same game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1315364' first='Jonas' last='Spencer'], PA 17U (2024 North Eugene) - We really liked the versatility that Spencer brought to the table on both ends of the floor - in many ways he is what many term a "Swiss Army Knife" kind of player. This was especially the case on the defensive end as he showed the ability to guard multiple positions and when called upon, really play lockdown D.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368243' first='Jason' last='Grady'], Players Only 16U (2025 Westview) - Grady has earned his reputation as a shooter and he certainly knocked down some threes over the weekend. But the 6-foot-5 rising junior didn't just settle for deep shots as he also put the ball on the deck a bit and got into the lane for some attempts.

Kasen Lehman, CP Magic 2024 (2025 Rock Canyon) - Blessed with a smooth stroke, Lehman looked to get things going from downtown early and often. He was proficient in catch-and-shoot situations but showed he was more than just a shooter as when defenses keyed in on him he adjusted by trying to get into the lane.

Asher Smith, PA 17U (2025 Corvallis) - Smith operated from the wing to the baseline and showed off a nice lefty face-up jumper. He came off the bench and provided instant energy, fighting hard on the boards and hustling on the defensive end.

Adam Nakai, Showtime 17U (2024 Santa Teresa) - Starting from watching some film from Showtime's game on Friday, we could tell right away that Nakai was a solid face-up shooter. He capably drained shots from mid-range on out in all the action we saw him play live as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612189' first='Champ' last='Powaukee'], BDH Elite 2024 (2024 Pullman) - The first thing we thought when we saw Powaukee step on the court was that he was going to show us something with his athleticism. He wound up making athletic plays all weekend long including one drive and dunk over an opponent that drew plenty of oohs and ahhs.
