Jaylan Mitchell (Brad Beal Elite 15U – 2027)
We are going to start out with the only 2027 on this list because quite frankly he was the best prospect at the event. At 6’8” the combo forward has everything you could ask for in a young prospect. Two way forward that impacts on both ends of the floor as defensively he got several steals a game. Sound passer with a natural feel for the game that is well advanced for his age. Can put it on the deck for scores off the bounce, post up, and has a feathery touch from deep. I am not one of those that overhypes players, but in all honesty he is probably one of the top handful of incoming freshman I’ve ever scouted and has #1 national type potential.
JJ Andrews (Brad Beal Elite 15U)
The other five-star at the event was Andrews. The Little Rock Christian Academy (AR) small forward is a relentless wing that is constantly in attack mode. Got to the rim over and over again for athletic finishes including a few insane baseline dunks. Takes great angles off the dribble. Elite athlete that excels in transition. Plus defender that can check multiple spots.
Sheek Pearson (Brad Beal Elite 15U)
Pearson has a high ceiling for BBE. The John Burroughs five man has legit size at 6’9” with a long and lanky frame. Effortless movement skills and when playing with confidence is a force finishing. Runs the floor with ease and has the potential to be a plus defender.
TySeanDre Edwards (Brad Beal Elite 15U)
This is a new prospect that grew on me throughout the weekend. Edwards is a power wing that can score on the block, seal off his man for scores off the bounce, and gets out in the open floor. Length plays well on the defensive end.
Austin Ford (INB Elite 17U)
Ford is playing up on the 17u level and the 2026 point guard held his own. Crafty finisher in the lane that plays with good pace. Active hands on defense. Stellar mid-range game.
Tim Jones Jr (OPS 15U)
Jones caught our attention with how well he played on Sunday. Acrobatic finisher around the hoop that has a nice soft touch finishing package in the paint. Loves to get up and down the floor.
Athens McGillis (All H.E.A.R.T. 16U)
McGillis was outstanding for his squad all weekend. Love what this floor general brings. The Kentucky native is playing up a year while showing an advanced understanding of the game, passing it with flair, and scoring from all three levels consistently. Dropped 26 points against BBE 16U.
