Kendall Bentley (Hopson Elite 17U)
Bently came out firing on the first night of the event scoring 16 points against Ronnie Fields Elite. Well built guard that puts pressure on the rim with straight line takes finishing with either hand and pushes with speed in transition. Flashed as a shooter, but driving is where he is at his best.
Jamerion Fouce (Team Fear None Indiana 17U)
Fouce looks like a linebacker with his strength, broad shoulders, and athleticism. Exceptional in transition as an above the rim finisher including lobs off the glass. Did most of his damage in the open floor and finishing through defenders.
Bradley Eziuka (Great Lakes Warriors 17U)
Liked what we saw from this Michigan wing with his smooth offensive skill set. He put it on the deck with ease for scores, finished out of the dunker spot, got to the foul line, and hit a three. Upside here.
Jordan Lomax (EG10 17U)
Lomax has been a favorite of mine for a while. Long and wiry two guard that is a straight bucket getter. Legit three level scorer that makes impactful plays. Smooth ball handler that works well around ball screens getting in the lane where he often was fouled living at the charity stripe. Good free throw shooter. Sound perimeter shot as well from both two and three with a feathery stroke.
Joey Heaston (INB Elite 17U)
Heaston was the most consistent performer for INB. Kid is tough and knocks down shots! Made threes in bunches throughout the weekend. Can play on or off the ball, but is best as a spot up shooter lighting up the nets all weekend.
Reis Butcher (INB Elite 17U)
Like Lomax, Butcher has been a favorite of mine for a while. Smooth three level scorer that rises up over defenders for clean jumpers be it behind the arc or inside. Sometime relies too much on the jumper, but he has D2 ability for sure.
Samuel Hans (Closed Gyms 17U)
Hans is a small forward that was lethal with his shooting when we saw Closed Gyms play. Drained four triples along with a plethora of feathery mid-range jumpers. Creates space and is a solid passer as well.
Dylan Bartchak (Next Level Basketball 17U)
Bartchak stood out on a fun Next Level Basketball squad. Started off with a crisp cross into a mid-range jumper. That was followed by taking bumps in the paint and using his quick release to drain threes.
Caleb Wise (Reps317 17U)
Wise was phenomenal in their game on Sunday against Pocket City. He dropped 21 points including six from distance. Everything the southpaw two guard threw up went in. He was a huge part of their win.
Malachi McNair (Pocket City 17U)
Wide bodied five man with good size. Rebounds very well in his area especially on the offensive end getting four put backs in the game we saw Sunday. Also is pretty light on his feet for his size.
Chris Glover (Pocket City 17U)
Strong bodied point guard that plays with a lot of passion. Good IQ as a distributor making sound decisions. Did most of his scoring damage at the rim including quite a few and-1s.
