The 2023 Prep Hoops Circuit Havoc in the Heartland is officially in the books. This past weekend many of the top teams from the Midwest and beyond descended upon Fishers and Noblesville on the north side of Indianapolis for this great event. As always, our Prep Hoops staff had boots on the ground coverage coming to you live from the moment games tipped off on Friday night until the final buzzer on Sunday afternoon. Let us take a look at some of the 2026 players that watched over the weekend and give some evaluations on how they did.

Anslinger was one of the more aggressive 2026s I watched over the weekend. Has a tough motor and seems to be always locked in on both ends. Really has a solid amount of strength for his age and offensively he displayed a solid pull-up jumper. For Ansligner, it is all about continuing to fine-tune his game offensively while maintaining that elite motor.

Chapman is a lanky wing that has a good amount of versatility in his game already at his age. For his size, was real impressed with his handles and passing ability. Scoring wise is where his versatility showed as he scored on strong baseline drives, post up, and stretched the floor a little bit. Right now he is more of a wing but has potential be a true stretch four. Just needs to work on adding some more weight but overall was really impressed.

Lincoln Dubord - 6'5 F 2026 - Evansville Christian/Indiana Ambition 2026:

Dubord is a big, true post player with natural strength. Used his frame pretty well on both ends which is something you like to see from a player at his age. He is still extremely raw but does have the visible tools to work with. One area he really needs improvement with is his footwork as it looked like he was thinking just a little too much in the post. There is some potential there.

While he is extremely small, Williams is an extremely shifty guard that plays aggressive. Overall smart player both on and off the ball and can score either way as well. Sees the floor well and is more natural playing that lead guard role. Hope to see a growth spurt happen sooner than later but the big thing for him to really get comfortable with the gym and work on adding weight and strength so he can start attacking the basket at a higher rate. Improving the physical tools is the next step for Williams.

Michael Gibson - 6'2 G 2026 - Ben Davis/Circle City Shooters Elite 2026:

Gibson is an on ball guard that plays quick and likes to attack. Displayed a strong first step and had a good motor throughout the game I watched. Really liked his court vision but thought he was a little out of control at times. Love the quickness he plays with but needs to let the game come to him a little better. A guard to keep an eye on these next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2414658' first='Cole' last='Grable'] - 6'5 C 2026 - Leo/OPS 2026 Grimm

Grable is a legit post player that has so much size at this age level. Overall, he showed a soft touch around the rim and was able to prove that he can rebound very well. Not the most mobile or quickest player running the floor but he really hustles and gets to his spot well. Took advantage of the smaller defenders at time which showed me he is smart big that knows how to use his size. If he can get quicker, he could be a real dangers big for Leo in the near future. He is a post player that works hard on the floor.

Sam McDaniels - 6'3 F 2026 - Warsaw/OPS 2026 Grimm:

McDaniels is a forward that has a wide frame and has a solid amount of athletic ability. Can get a bucket at all three levels and defends the perimeter well. Really liked his motor and overall shot selection. He is a player that has the tools to be a playmaker for Warsaw in the future and just needs to continue to put in the work.
