The 6-5 wing is a pure double-double machine on any given night. Cowan plays with a ton of length on the inside which forces the opposition to take tough shots. Cowan also has pure ability to get to the free throw line as he excels when he is on the attack to the basket.
The 6-7 rising senior is very versatile when he is out on the floor. He is a solid finisher around the rim, efficient rebounder and plays with a high IQ. On the defensive end he can guard multiple positions and also has the ability to hit the outside shot on the offensive end. College coaches should be attracted to Watterson as we gear up for the next live period in just a few weeks.
