The event took place from May 5th to May 7th, with teams from all over the east coast in attendance. Here are some of the top 17u performances that I was able to get an eye on.

Standing at 6-foot-4, Brown brings a versatile playstyle to the court as he can operate as the screener in the pick and roll and make plays for teammates out of the short roll or roll to the rim for a strong finish. He can play physical in the paint and extends his scoring to the three-point line where he can knock down catch and shoot three-pointers with confidence. Brown’s versatility is present on both ends on the court. Defensively, he can move his feet with quicker guards on the perimeter and cut off drives to force turnovers. He played with a high-motor when protecting the rim as we saw him rotate over for blocks on time, late in plays, as well as hustling downcourt to erase fastbreak layups off the backboard.
Hudson Smith

Throughout the event, Smith showed the ability to knock down the catch and shoot three-pointer over the defenders contests. He was able to make tough three-pointers on the move as well as off-balance. On the defensive end, he was able to make thing difficult for opposing offenses by getting into the passing lane for deflections and running out in transition to convert on those turnovers with fastbreak points.
Saleem Williams
Saleem Williams
Williams displayed a solid “3 and D” game throughout the weekend in South Carolina. When left open behind the three-point line, Williams was nearly automatic on the catch and shoot three-pointers. He was also able to knock down tough catch and shoot three pointers over the top of closeouts. On the defensive end, Williams was able to cause havoc for opposing offenses by getting a hand on the ball on drives from digs as well as forcing turnovers out of help defense.
Karder Pendergraft
Karder Pendergraft
Pendergraft was getting into the paint whenever he wanted, however he wanted throughout the weekend. On the perimeter, he was able to get defenders out of position and open up driving angle with pump fakes to attack closeouts. He showed his strength on drives and the ability to absorb contact and maintain balance all the way to the rim. Pairing that strength with his tight handle, Pendergraft was a problem for every defense he went up against. He was able to suck in defenses, below the free throw line by getting into the lane, leading to kick out passes to wide open shooters and tough finishes at the rim.
Suiting up with Team Loaded 804 17u over the weekend, Myers was a serious problems for a opposing defense as he did a good job of being multiple places at once. We constantly saw him dig at drivers without fouling, leading to some loose balls and turnovers. He did a good job of sticking with ball handlers in one on one situations and maneuvering through on ball screens. Offensively, he was able to generate points from turnovers by initiating and finishing fastbreaks. He showed the ability to knock down catch and shoot three-pointers as well as attack defenders off the dribble.
