Brandon Hrncir Brandon Hrncir 6'8" | PF Farmington | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Fury (6’7 2024 forward from Farmington). After a 20 and 10 double double against Lightning we then saw Brandon scored 12 with four boards and four assists against SSA. Hrncir’s consistency is starting to be something that really stands out to me week to week.
Aiden Johnson Aiden Johnson 6'6" | PF Legacy Christian Academy | 2023 State MN of Minnesota Comets (6’5 2024 forward from Cannon Falls). I love the way Johnson works on the wing. He defends, boards, moves off the ball, slashes well, and runs the floor. In high school he’s a go to scorer but on this team Aiden has found his niche playing a role and I think that role could land him D2 options.
Kyle Jorgensen Kyle Jorgensen 6'9" | C Minneapolis Washburn | 2024 State #308 Nation MN of Minnesota Comets (6’9 2024 big from Minneapolis Washburn). Kyle’s combination of low post footwork, touch in the low post, and touch from the arc has had a lot of people talking, and after he scored 27 against Bradey Henige, Kyle made believers out of many. UST is surely a believer as they offered Kyle a scholarship yesterday.
Ethan Lee Ethan Lee 6'5" | SF Kasson Mantorville Highschool | 2025 State MN of Minnesota Lightning (6’5 2025 wing from Kasson-Mantorville). Ethan knocked out six threes and scored his 21 points in a win over the Comets by shooting 8 of 14 from the field. Good size and a strong touch at 6’5 has a lot of people talking after this weekend.
Hanif Muhammed of Real Phenom (6’1 2024 point guard from Breck). It was another weekend and another statement made by Real Phenom. Last weekend they went 4-0 and knocked off SSA, this weekend they went 3-1 earning big local wins over Comets and Select. Hanif led the way again including scoring 16 against Select.
Owen Waldoch Owen Waldoch 6'7" | PF Forest Lake | 2024 State MN of Minnesota fury (6’6 2024 forward from Forest Lake). Much like Johnson above, I love the way that Waldoch is embracing his role for his team. Every game I have seen the Fury play this year Owen is outworking his guy to d-board, to move behind the play to score with an active off the ball effort, or to get an extra step on defense. Scored in double digits in three games.
