Evan Anderson of Wisconsin Playmakers (6’4 2024 shooting guard from Onalaska). There were D2 coaches all over the place at Battle at the Lakes and a big reason was the attack game of Evan Anderson. He scored 19 points in three different games plus he scored 16 in another contest.
Bradey Henige of D-1 Nation Arizona (7’0 2024 big from Cactus). Bradey’s 18 point game was good. His 23 point, nine rebound game was solid. But that 48 point game on 18 of 25 shooting with 11 of 16 foul shooting and 22 rebounds, that is one of the single greatest games in Prep Hoops Circuit history. If not the best individual game in circuit history.
Will Hornseth Will Hornseth 6'8" | PF De Pere | 2024 State #208 Nation WI of Wisconsin Blizzard (6’7 2024 power forward from De Pere). After watching Will play I looked at his offer list of Illinois State, St. Thomas, Northern Iowa, Green Bay, and Toledo and thought, those are very smart coaches. If it was 15 years ago that list would likely be Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Cincinnati. His ferocious play around the rim left a huge impact on all that watched.
Jay Neubert Jay Neubert 6'2" | SG Sauk Centre | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Fury (6’2 2024 shooting guard from Sauk Centre). Neubert defended strong, shot a high percentage, and was in double figures in every game for the Fury. The Fury was a basket (and likely an injury to Max Woods Max Woods 5'11" | PG Chanhassen | 2024 State MN ) away from another undefeated weekend of play.
Isaiah Schafer of D1 Minnesota (6’1 2024 guard from Bismarck Century, ND). Schafer was lights out all weekend. He plays on a team that has five guys with division one offers but it was Isaiah that they went to routinely for big shots to be made and Isaiah delivered. Over and over again. Isaiah hit six threes to score 20 against Sanford Sports and then hit six threes scoring 19 against Wisconsin Blizzard .
Jeremiah Sem of Sanford Sports Academy (6’3 2024 shooting guard from Fargo North, ND). Sem had a good weekend of scoring and a couple highlight finishes but the seven of seven shooting against the Fury is what people will remember. Jeremiah hit his sixth triple with 30 seconds to go and then hit a three at the buzzer to win the game.
