The 6'9 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers on the perimeter. Popovic is a solid finisher around the basket and is capable of drawing contact in the paint. He is a good rebounder and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is a tough on-ball defender as he uses his quick hands to get hands to get deflections. The 6'3 guard has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Michigan moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers. He is a solid rebounder and an underrated defender. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses his size to influence shots around the basket.
