(115) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1288893' first='Tanner' last='Michael'] (Hudson)

Michael (pictured) averaged team-highs in scoring (13.9) and assists (3.7) last year at Independence, and is transferring to Hudson for his senior year, where he'll give the Pirates a dynamic playmaker in the backcourt. He's small, listed at 5-8, but he's also fearless, constantly looking to use his quickness and ball handling to blow by defenders and attack the rim, where he's a good, creative finisher. He's also a deadly shooter from deep, burying 43% of his 3-point attempts last season, and he can knock down shots both off the dribble and the catch.

(127) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1872424' first='Dane' last='Geetings'] (Pella Christian)

Geetings had a really solid week at the state tournament in March, showcasing his athleticism and length on the perimeter on both ends of the floor. He's a versatile defender who moves his feet well and stays in front of opposing ball handlers well, gets into passing lanes, and is a strong team defender who rotates and helps at a high level. Offensively he's a capable shooter but is at his best when he's playing downhill and attacking the rim as both a scorer and playmaker.

(128) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1288854' first='Rashad' last='Gatewood'] (Cedar Rapids Jefferson)

Gatewood is a dynamic athlete on the perimeter who can get to the bucket seemingly at will, and he uses his athleticism and strength to either finish above defenders or power through contact for buckets. He's a solid on-ball defender who moves his feet well and uses his length to get into passing lanes. He's playing really well early in the spring for the Barnstormers Black team and should have a bigger role at Jefferson next season after averaging 5.7 points a game as a junior.

(166) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1587750' first='Nolan' last='Mcdonald'] (City)

McDonald played limited minutes following his transfer to City from Regina, but he'll play a significant role for the Little Hawks as a senior. He's a quality shooter who can play with or without the ball in his hands.

(178) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1807351' first='Eddie' last='Petersen'] (Regina)

Petersen did a little bit of everything for a junior-heavy Regals team last year, averaging 9.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a game. A 6-1 lead guard who can create his own look or looks for his teammates, he's a good athlete who can also provide some defensive versatility.

(196) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1874776' first='Eric' last='Berry'] (Prince of Peace)

Berry is a volume scorer who loves to attack the rim and create looks for himself and his teammates. He's a good rebounder on both ends of the floor and an active defender who gets his hands into passing lanes, turning defense into offense.

(199) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1587372' first='Calvin' last='Flood'] (Waukee)

Flood was buried on the bench at Waukee, a school filled with tremendous seniors, but he should step into a significant role next season. A 6-0 guard who can play with or without the ball in his hands, he knocks down open looks, competes on the defensive end, and gets his teammates involved.

(200) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1900233' first='Casen' last='Reid'] (Wilton)

Reid stuffed the stat sheet for the Beavers as a junior, averaging 7.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.2 steals a game. He's a solid ball-handler who sees the floor well, and his ability to impact the game in a variety of ways land him in this rankings update.

(202) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1945653' first='Hayden' last='Wilmes'] (Winterset)

Wilmes is a sharpshooter who knocked down over 40% of his 3s as a junior for the Huskies. He played largely off the ball last season, but will likely be asked to step into a more prominent ball-handling role as a senior. He's off to a strong start with [program_tooltip program_id='2198461' first='Iowa' last='Hoop Dreams'] this spring.

(205) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1288897' first='Logan' last='Wagemester'] (Prairie)

Wagemester, son of former Kirkwood coach Doug Wagemester, is a high IQ, physical guard who can defend multiple positions, contribute on the glass and make plays for his teammates. Nothing he does is going to blow you away, but you can rely on him to be a productive, winning player on both ends of the floor.

(214) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1938207' first='Hunter' last='Gilleland'] (Red Oak)

Gilleland led the Tigers in assists last season and is a quick guard who puts constant pressure on opposing defenses with his ability to attack off the bounce. He's also a solid defender with quick hands and feet.

(223) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1938210' first='Eli' last='Menke'] (Lake Mills)

Menke is a true sharpshooter who does a huge amount of his damage as a scorer from behind the arc. He has a quick release off the catch and moves well without the ball, finding open spaces in the defense to get good looks. He buried 42.5% of his 3-point attempts last year and showed himself to be a reliable secondary ball-handler and decision-maker.

(226) SG [player_tooltip player_id='1945655' first='Cade' last='Boten'] (Saydel)

A high-scoring 6-1 guard from Saydel, Boten averaged 15.7 points and shot nearly 36% from behind the arc as a junior. He's a capable three-level scorer and solid secondary playmaker who can create for his teammates.

(229) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1945658' first='Shyne' last='Lo'] (Saydel)

Lo led the Eagles in assists as a junior, dishing out 6.5 helpers a game, and he also does a pretty good job protecting the ball considering how much he has it in his hands. He sees the floor well and is a good, willing passer who loves to get his teammates involved. He also showed the ability to knock down open looks, burying 37% of his 3-point attempts last season.

(230) PG [player_tooltip player_id='1945659' first='Dawson' last='Nelson'] (Nodaway Valley)

A 5-11 scoring guard who can put up points in bunches, Nelson averaged 18 points on a senior-laden Wolverines team and could contend for the state scoring title next year as he'll have the ball in his hands a ton. He's a good perimeter shooting threat who can shoot it well both off the dribble and the catch, but he's at his best when he's playing downhill and getting to the rim.
