Due to his quick feet and mobile strength, Leslie is a valuable point of attack defender who makes an impact versus both backcourt positions. Thanks to his strong frame, the junior maximizes his low center of gravity, not moved around easily by opposing perimeter scorers. On the opposite end of the floor, Leslie is a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc, typically getting those looks off the catch. Should the defense overplay the perimeter, trust that Leslie will get downhill with authority, even contributing on tough attempts at the basket. There are few guards in that 2024 class within the state who have his body control, showcasing mid-air readjustments and contorting his body to finish around contests. His defensive anticipation is highly practical, rotating early and converting those situations into steals. His robust frame has aided in his rebounding efforts, proving capable of moving opposing backcourt opponents and smaller forwards out of the way on box outs.
