Earlier this week PHD updated the Prospect Rankings for the 2023 class in South Dakota. We already did a Stock Riser article, but these players are so talented that we had to do another piece on stock risers. Take a look below for 8 players that had great senior seasons and recently went up in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='963799' first='Keegan' last='Hett'] |6'0 G| Harding County

18-5 record, lost in SoDak 16. 2nd Team All-State. 19.5 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.6 apg, 54 FG%, 31 3FG%, 32 3FGM, 77 FT%, 72 FTM. His skill set and hoops IQ are impressive. Hett does not just stick out on the offensive end, he is also a physical and tough defender. He did not hit a ton of triples but can certainly knock them down. Hett makes plays going downhill and he can put it in from all angles. Keegan was a DUDE this season and he is an all-time great from Harding County.

[player_tooltip player_id='963776' first='Reilyn' last='Zavesky'] |6'4 G/F| Huron

7-14 record, lost in SoDak 16. 2nd Team All-State. 23.5 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 2.1 apg, 54.3 FG%, 41 3FG%, 38 3FGM, 83 FT%, 104 FTM. Zavesky burst onto the scene in a big way this season. This long lefty is physical and an aggressive slasher. Zavesky was extra-productive penetrating to his left. Reilyn has good moves and feet around the rim. I have seen him have an effective spin move. He finishes well at the rim and can hit the 3-ball. Zavesky was also an excellent leader for the Tigers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1500252' first='Jaxon' last='Hennies'] |6'1 G| Dakota Valley

26-0 record, back-to-back State Champion! Hennies is a winner, that is for sure! 8.3 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.4 spg, 43 FG%, 36 3FG%, 42 3FGM. He was one of my favorite players to watch in South Dakota. Hennies has a ton of heart, plays with swag, and there is never too big of a moment for this STUD. Jaxon was the X-factor for the Panthers, whenever anyone overlooked him, Hennies performed well and had a big game. He is gritty, unselfish, skilled, tough, and a timely playmaker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227969' first='Derek' last='Tieszen'] |6'1 G| Canton

9-11 record, lost in Region Quarterfinals. 15 ppg, 4 rpg, 5 apg, 47 FG%, 42 3FG%, 41 3FGM, 79 FT%, 56 FTM. The All-Time assist leader at Canton! Derek is a lead guard that runs the show on the hardwood. He is a creator, facilitator, and offensive developer. Tieszen is a high-percentage shooter and from the looks of his numbers, Derek should have shot more! Derek is top-notch in transition, throws beautiful 3/4 court passes, and will also make the easy pass. I like the looks of him going downhill and Derek can finish smoothly at the cup. Tieszen is now at the top of the history books for the C-Hawks when it comes to passing the ball. Special player!

[player_tooltip player_id='963793' first='Jordan' last='Stoltz'] |6'7 F| Mt. Vernon-Plankinton

18-8 record, State Qualifier. Key player for the Titans. Dunked a ton this season, highlight tape is crazy! Stoltz was/is a dunking machine. Jordan was also great on the glass, this BIG can dominate the boards on both ends. Has intriguing athleticism and some quick moves around the basket. As a defender, he protected the paint and moved well when guarding on-ball. Jordan runs the floor like a deer and finishes in an impressive fashion.

[player_tooltip player_id='963778' first='Logan' last='Bobzin'] |5'10 G| Centerville

10-10 record, lost in Region Quarterfinals. 16 ppg, 4 rpg, 1.4 apg, 46.5 FG%, 47.5 3FG%, 73 3FGM, 79 FT%, 26 FTM. He really shot the ball well this season. Bobzin set his feet in a hurry and his follow-through is perfect. I like how he spreads the floor and reacts to the defense. Logan is a deadly shooter, 47.5% from deep is wild, especially when he hit 73 of them and was being guarded tightly. Bobzin is a serious shooter

[player_tooltip player_id='1227967' first='Ethan' last='Bartels'] |6'2 F| Winner

21-2 record, lost in SoDak 16. 6.3 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 1.9 apg. He comes from a winning program and Bartels is a tough kid. Bartels is a veteran player that knows what it takes to win games. Ethan works his tail off on both ends of the floor. He stands out as a defender and will score from in and out on the offensive end. Bartels will be missed by the Warriors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1554419' first='Conner' last='Eich'] |6'3 SF| Lennox

17-4 record, lost in Region Quarterfinals. Eich is a good-sized athlete and he can really shoot it from deep. Conner spaces the floor, reacts to the D, catches ready-to-fire, set his feet quickly, and lets it go with a feathery touch. Eich has good instincts on the court and it is easy to see that he is a natural athlete.
