Joel Cineus Joel Cineus 6'4" | SF Ewing | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 F Ewing 2025
Cineus had a strong showing at the NJ Panthers scrimmages as he played with great energy throughout the day. The 6’4 forward was all over the place defensively as he slid his feet and swatted shots around the basket. Cineus ran the floor hard for open baskets in transition and finished nicely around the rim. He skied for rebounds on both ends of the floor and rarely forced bad shots. Cineus is a hard-working forward prospect who plays with a motor that doesn’t stop on either end of the floor.
Brandon Dean Brandon Dean 5'10" | PG South Plainfield | 2024 NLG , 6’0 PG TBD 2024
Dean had a solid showing at the NJ Panthers scrimmages as he was in a groove throughout the 17U game for the HGSL team. The 6’0 guard was able to get into the lane consistently throughout the game and made tough shots in the paint. Dean showed the ability to shot off the catch and dribble, along with flashes of playing off the ball. He pushed the pace nicely in transition and moved his feet on defense. Dean is a scoring lead guard prospect who should put up big numbers this AAU season.
Donald Nwaigwe, 6’4 F Piscataway 2026
Nwaigwe made an impact at both ends of the floor for the 15U HGSL team. The 6’4 forward played with active hands on the defensive end as he was able to get deflections and steals to lead to fast breaks. Nwaigwe attacked the basket strong off the bounce as he was able to get to the rim and finish. He fought for rebounds throughout the game and moved well without the ball in his hands. Nwaigwe has the potential to have a breakout AAU season with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor.
Victor Torres Victor Torres 6'7" | PF St. Mary's Rutherford | 2024 State NJ , 6’8 F/C St. Mary’s Rutherford 2024
Torres flashed throughout the game as he was able to show his upside. The 6’8 post prospect was active on the glass as he fought for offensive rebounds to keep possessions alive for the 17U Select team. Torres ripped down defensive rebounds to prevent second chance opportunities and held his ground on the defense. He was able to draw contact down low and has a decent touch around the basket. Torres is a physical forward prospect whose ability to control the paint is something that will help his stock in a big way this season.
Addison Leake, 6’3 W Dwight-Englewood 2025
Leake had a strong game as he was able to make plays with the ball in his hands for the NJ Panthers 16U Select team. The 6’3 wing attacked the basket strong and he finished nicely at the rim. Leake was not rattled by on-ball pressure and rose up with confidence on his jumper. He showed the ability to defend multiple positions on the floor and grabbed rebounds on both ends of the floor.
