Prep Hoops Florida scout Ross Van De Griek is on the grounds of the Legacy Sports USA in Phoenix covering the 2nd Session of the Nike EYBL Circuit. Here are the top standouts from Saturday morning:
The 6-8 rising sophomore guard has huge upside and it was on full display this morning at the Nike EYBL in Phoenix. Constanza exploded for a game-high 20 points including six made 3-pointers for Nightrydas Elite in front of coaches from Duke, Kentucky, Michigan and several others. His longevity played a huge role on both ends of the floor as he also collected eight rebounds and didn’t allow many second chance scoring opportunities.
The 6-7 wing picked up an offer from Jacksonville University earlier in the week. His stock got much higher today as he used his productivity to an advantage as he finished with 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field for Nightrydas Elite. Gaskins did most of his work when he was around the rim and had a few vicious dunks in traffic.
The 6-9 forward continues to impress this weekend at the Nike EYBL Session 2 in Phoenix. Flagg went off for 34 points on 12-of-21 shooting from the field as well as 15 rebounds and 5 blocked shots, followed by a 26-point outing in front of Duke head coach Jon Scheyer.
The 6-4 combo guard is a dynamic scorer who can impact the game whether it’s around the rim or occasionally from beyond the arc. Boswell scored 17 points on 5-of-12 shooting for Team CP3 in a 85-72 loss to NH Lightning. Boswell was also explosive on the defensive end as well recording four rebounds and two steals.
The 6-6 wing plays a smooth game and has a soft touch when he is finishing around the rim. Henderson used his size and athleticism to an advantage as he finished with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in JL3 Elite’s 67-56 loss to Maine United. Henderson has received offers from Houston and SMU so far in the early stages of his recruitment process.
The 6-0 point guard was efficient from the perimeter in the first half, knocking down his first three 3-pointers. He was an elite floor general who displays great court vision and gets his teammates involved in the action. Reece continues to have an impressive spring as his stock continues to get higher as the circuit season rolls on.
