Prep Hoops Missouri just released its new Class of 2026 rankings. Here is a look at some of the top forwards and posts from the new rankings. Several of these prospects are just starting in their development as players, which makes for a bright future for these young bigs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1789999' first='Tyseandean' last='Edwards'] (Cape Girardeau Central): A 6'6" small forward who was a dynamic force as a freshman in helping the Tigers to the SEMO Conference championship. He is a dynamic athlete who can stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting while exciting the crowd with his explosive dunking. He's a young talent with a very high upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557399' first='Sheek' last='Pearson'] (John Burroughs): A 6'9" forward who has excellent length and a burgeoning skill set to match. He used his reach and timing to be an effective shot blocker inside. He has a nice shooting touch around the basket and he runs the court very well. He averaged seven points and five rebounds while shooting 67 percent from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850526' first='Tristan' last='Reed'] (John Burroughs): A 6'7" power forward with a big body who plays an old-school back to the basket game. He's hard to move when he establishes his position in the low post and he can score inside and also grab his share of offensive rebounds. He is also an excellent shot blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1873523' first='Jameson' last='White'] (Chaminade): A 6'5" small forward who stepped in and had some very solid performances for the Red Devils this season. He plays well at both ends of the floor with his size and versatility. He can rebound and score inside, but also handle the ball and hit the pull up jumper.

Syman Ghai (Vianney): A 7'3" center who is just beginning his basketball journey, so he has loads of potential to grow in the coming years. He's long and he runs the court and he is a very good shot blocker. He averaged seven points, six rebounds and nearly two blocks a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1517770' first='Parker' last='Seithel'] (Rockhurst): A 6'8" forward who is very skilled and also has a big upside for the future. He is capable of stretching the defense with his 3-point shooting. He can also pass the ball and score around the basket with a nice touch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1790002' first='John' last='Fleeman'] (Kingsville): A 6'10" post player who's hidden away at a Class 1 school, but he has a excellent size and a lot of ability. He is solidly built so he can go inside and bang and get his position. He has a nice shooting touch, plus he passes well and can step outside and hit a perimeter shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850452' first='Landon' last='Van Pelt'] (Lee's Summit): A 6'7" power forward with a solid body and good strength. He holds his position well and he doesn't mind the physical play. He can also operate well out of the high post with his ability to pass the ball.
