Cade Capps Cade Capps 6’5″ | SG Stone Memorial | 2025 State #210 Nation TN was noted as one of the most highly-touted prospects coming into the weekend and his performance on night one lived up to expectation. Capps went for 27 in a close win and hit some timely three-pointers down the stretch to help take his team over the finish line. He’s a 6’5 wing that can really stroke it from three and possesses nice size on the perimeter, not afraid to hit the boards either. After tonight, it’s clear why Capps is considered one of the top 2025 prospects in Tennessee.
Highlights
Josh Cope
Josh Cope
Josh Cope put on a shooting clinic in his first game of the weekend, going for 26 points on 6 three-pointers. He had 18 in the first half, began running away with the game and the Crossovers could never catch up after that. Cope is a natural scorer and was able to get to his spots all night, both from three and in the mid-range. With Cope leading the way and a healthy mix of shooters and athletes, this STARS North team could do a lot of damage this spring.
Jamerion Fouce
Jamerion Fouce
Jamerion Fouce may have had the performance of the night in the best game of the night. In a back-and-forth brawl with STARS UA Rise 2025, Fouce finished with a game-high 30 points and had multiple highlight plays. Still unsigned, Fouce is a big 6’4 guard that knows how to get to the hole, runs the floor hard, and offers a lot of defensive versatility. This late in the game, I know several JUCOs that would be happy to get their hands on a guy like Fouce.
Demauriah Brown
Demauriah Brown
Demauriah Brown was the catalyst for Kentucky Future Elite’s 2025 squad in an opening night win. Brown went for 17 points on the night while finding them in a variety of ways. He’s speedy with the ball in his hands and has a knack for getting to the rim. On defense, he flies around and I see all the tools for him to be an elite on-ball defender down the road. Brown doubles as a star football player and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him with opportunities in both sports.
Deing Wang
Deing Wang
While the Crossovers fell short in their opening night matchup, I was intrigued by what I saw from Deing Wang. At 6’8, Wang is long and mobile. He did a good job of protecting the rim on defense and came up with a handful of blocks. Offensively, Wang got to the hole on multiple occasions and even knocked down a three from the perimeter that looked pretty coming off his hand. Having done some serious work to his body in the past year, Deing Wang is a prospect that’s now worthy of a hard look.
