March 31st-April 2nd weekend I attended the AZ Warm Ups for the Made Hoops tournament at the Legacy Sports Complex in Mesa and the West Coast Elite tournament at the Phhacility in Phx.

Here were the sophomore standouts/Part-1:

[player_tooltip player_id='1237854' first='Jaion' last='Pitt'] Dream City Christian (AZ Unity EYBL)

A power forward had a good showing. He showed off a drop step move, hook shots and he plays with a big time motor to rebound and will flush it down easily. He has good hands and has some good open court speed. His quick bounce and hands of steel allows him to grab every ball near him. His stock is soaring up!

[player_tooltip player_id='1297427' first='AJ' last='Thomas'] Eduprize (AZ Unity 17 EYBL)

A recent re-class actually grew an inch or so in the last year. His skill keeps improving as he hit multiple deep threes off the catch and pushes the rock ahead. He will drive and kick it to a teammate with either hand easily. He picked up his 1st offer from Seattle Univ this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1301344' first='Kingston' last='Tosi'] Millennium (Elev8 Elite 16)

A versatile forward is a two-way player. He will block shots in the area and rebound in and out of his area. He can rip thru, hit the three and drive the lane to score in heavy traffic. He picked up his 1st offer from Northern Arizona this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150844' first='Quincy' last='Everson'] MIllennium (Elev8 Elite 16)

A true combo guard is a good defender and scorer. He can catch and shoot from the three plus get to the basket. His length bothered the opposing guards and plays with a fire inside to compete.

[player_tooltip player_id='996764' first='Brennan' last='Peterson'] Notre Dame Prep (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

One of the knockdown shooters in the AIA backed it up with some triples. He is very quick with the ball in his hands and plays well off the ball. He can catch and shoot from mid to the three and sees the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150847' first='Carlos' last='Coronado Jr'] Coolidge (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

Easily the top passer on the team makes them go in spurts. He is deceptively athletic and quick to get a step on his defender to the rim. He throws it down above the rim and his court vision is next level stuff. He can hit perimeter jumpers and plays from the neck up.

[player_tooltip player_id='994689' first='Noah' last='George'] Dream City Christian (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

Young George is getting taller and has grown two to three inches. He is a good shooter who can hit the three but he is starting to create a little more for himself off the dribble. He can pull-up from mid-range and change speeds to get to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1276753' first='Ayden' last='Madi'] Brophy Prep (UH Elite UA Rise 16)

An all-around bigger sized scoring guard is a shooter with no conscience. He will keep shooting regardless if he made or missed the last few. He does get on the glass and score on put backs and will smartly cut to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494967' first='Dylan' last='Novak'] ALA Gilbert-North (UH Elite UA Rise 16)

The UH Under Armour top rated player is a fun watch. He has a tight handle and can thread the needle to his teammates. He has a very shifty handle to create his own separation and can shoot the three with range near the volleyball line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589731' first='Oluwatomisin' last='Ayodele-Osho'] Dream City Christian (Arizona Unity Premier 16) (Pictured)

'Tommy' is an athletic two-guard who can catch and shoot from the three point line. He is mostly a downhill scorer who makes a quick burst in the lane with a nice first step. He is slowly improving his shooting stroke and he will defend multiple positions.
