With a bunch of area talent playing in front of a handful of college coaches looking to jumpstart their spring recruiting efforts there was plenty to see throughout the day. I’ve had boots on the ground all day long providing coverage that you can find on Twitter @BRamseyKSR. Now, let’s highlight some of the top performers from Saturday at the Grit Region Kick-Off.
This lightening quick 5’8″ point guard was excellent while playing with NEBC 2024 and NEBC 2025. To start the morning off on Saturday he played in back-to-back games scoring 19 points for the 2024 squad followed by pouring in 37 points with the 2025 group. The left-handed playmaker is so dynamic off of the bounce, can shoot it from beyond the arc, and is an excellent passer when attacking the basket.
Hall is a 6’2″ dynamic playmaking guard with impressive athleticism and size for a lead guard. He is really hard to stop when he gets going downhill to the rim and showed his willingness as a passer early Saturday morning. Very impressive prospect that played a big part in leading Vision 2024 Elite to a pair of 20-plus point victories to start the weekend.

Playing up a year with a team primarily consisting of the Clay County High School team, Roark was often the best player on the floor during his two games on Saturday. The strong, athletic 6’2″ guard poured in a combined 45 points in two games showcasing excellent driving ability, finishing ability, and good decision-making. Definitely one to follow.
With the first half of his first game on Saturday, Summers had played his way into top performer status. The 6’2″ sharpshooter knocked in five three-pointers in the first half alone on his way to a team-leading 18 points in a victory over NEBC 2025. Summers can flat out stroke it from beyond the arc.

When you look out on the floor Stubbs immediately stands out. He is 6’7″ and probably 240+ pounds with really impressive footwork and mobility for his size. The versatile forward scored 17 points to lead MAC Boys Basketball 2025 to an easy win over Vision 2025 Select as they would go on to finish 2-0 on Saturday.
Golle picked up right where he left off from a strong showing on the Prep Hoops Circuit last summer. The skilled 6’2″ guard had his offensive game on full display knocking in three-point shots, getting the basket off of the bounce, and making several excellent passes. He was very active on the defensive end of the floor as well.

Loftis came out and scored 21 points in Kentucky Supreme’s win over the Illinois Storm on Saturday morning. He is so skilled with the ball in his hands and can seemingly make any play at any time. The 5’10” playmaker scores it from multiple spots on the floor, creates scoring opportunities for his teammates, and is disruptive on the defensive end.
Dillingham really stood out today with his consistent playmaking ability, shiftiness in the open floor, and creative finishes at the rim. He is lightening quick in transition and is a good decision maker even when operating at full speed. Scored 17 points in a hard-fought victory on Saturday morning over NEBC 2025.
