The 2026 rankings are out.

We dive into the positional rankings. We first look at the point guards for the freshman class.

Here are the top-10 PG's in the 2026 class:

[player_tooltip player_id='1323290' first='Mason' last='Magee'] Basha

A wildly athletic lead guard is a ball hawk defender. He has supreme speed and quickness with the ball in his hands. Once he puts his foot down to make his move, he is past his defender to the rim and is usually throwing it down. His pull-up from mid-range is hard to defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] Desert Mountain

A bigger point guard with a big IQ and skill. He can rattle in triples and pull-up from mid-range. He is a very good on-ball defender and uses his size and length to keep ball handlers in front of him. He sees the court well and is hyper competitive.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591734' first='TJ' last='Harris'] Paradise Honors

A jet quick point guard plays at a different speed than most. He is fast in the open court and will dime his teammates. He has a polished floater game and a nice pull-up from mid-range. He is tough on the ball defensively using his speed, quick hands and feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150901' first='John' last='Mattingly'] Sunnyslope

One of the tougher and more skilled scoring point guards in the group. He plays at his own pace and changes speeds often to get the defenders off of him. He shoots it from both levels efficiently and makes players around him better. His calm demeanor, deception and ability to change speeds is next level stuff.

[player_tooltip player_id='1893639' first='Alonzo' last='Middleton'] Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)

Arguably the deepest three point range shooter in the group. He smartly uses screens and will launch it quickly with no hesitation. But he is definitely a point guard with up the court ropes and drive and kick passes to teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323292' first='Joseph' last='Lindsey'] Mountain Pointe

A fast and confident scoring lead guard had some big games already on varsity. He had a balanced freshmen season with 11.6 ppg with 3 assists and 3 rebounds per game. He can shoot the three but is best driving the lane and scoring in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323294' first='Will' last='Gordon'] San Tan Charter

A bigger sized lead guard with size and defensive instincts. He uses his height and length to defend and he can shoot the three off the catch. He avg 11.8 ppg and 4.5 rebounds per game plus two steals per game showing off his defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464982' first='Miles' last='Sadler'] Dream City Christian International

A scoring point guard with some serious jets. He seems to fly in the open court and will burst past his defenders with an impressive first step. He is undersized but has skill and obvious speed. He uses good body control to score in heavy traffic and is quick on the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574517' first='Jaylin' last='Ideran'] Camelback

A pure point guard who is always trying to make plays for teammates. He throws up the court passes, drives and kicks and burst by and dump it off to a post player. He can shoot perimeter jumpers but is best touching the paint and getting downhill.

The 2026 rankings are out.
