Luke Graff Luke Graff 6'3" | SG Holy Family | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Comets (6’3 SG 2024, Champin Park). Graff is a better player and a better shooter than I thought. And he is much more of a competitor than I thought. There is more to his all around game than I had previously seen. The handles are better than your typical catch and shoot guy and Luke looked to compete in a tougher way than I saw previously. He was the difference in the Comets win over Select scoring 16.
Brandon Hrncir Brandon Hrncir 6'8" | PF Farmington | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Fury (6’7 PF 2024, Farmington). First of all Brandon was productive. He finished consistently (and with the Fury that usually means a player made 3 of his 5 or 4 of his 6 attempts) and he rebounded well. And after the production piece it was the way that Brandon moved in a 6’6/6’7 frame that caught my eye. Gets off his feet well, runs well, moves laterally well which is obviously huge in the game today and has good size for a scholarship forward. Is also coming off a really nice year for Farmington.
Tray Lenzen Tray Lenzen 6'7" | PF Chaska | 2025 State MN of Minnesota Fury (6’7 Forward 2025, Chaska). The play of Tray Lenzen Tray Lenzen 6'7" | PF Chaska | 2025 State MN might have been my biggest takeaway from St. Cloud. He has the stretch four piece to him with the face-up comfort and touch and I really liked how well he moved and worked in the halfcourt system. What put me over the edge though was the consistency of production and Lenzen having a bit more pop to him than I expected. That Sunday one hander in traffic really caught me off guard and impressed. Scholarship talent for sure and a definite stock raiser.
Keaton Ressler Keaton Ressler 6'1" | PG Lakeville South | 2025 State MN of Minnesota Fury (6’1 PG 2025, Lakeville South). I really enjoyed watching the way Ressler moved the ball to his teammates. The Fury runs a lot of good stuff and Keaton did the job putting the ball where it needs to be, but his feeds on the move both in transition and the halfcourt really caught my eye. He’s also quicker than I thought as well. I think Ressler has a chance to be one of the top guards in his class.
Noah Stommes Noah Stommes 6'8" | C Eden Valley-Watkins | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Comets (6’8 C 2024, Eden Valley-Watkins. Noah takes up a lot of space, plays hard, and plays the right way. I don’t know how big the long term ceiling is, but he is surely a better prospect than I thought coming in. Why? He is every bit of 6-foot-8 and Noah has to be one of the strongest players in the state of Minnesota. What I also like about him is Noah seems to be a lunchpail guy who had a great season for a winning team this winter. Wasn’t sure I was going to call him a scholarship guy but after this weekend I think he can be.
Drew Werkman Drew Werkman 6'4" | PF RTR | 2024 State MN of RTR (6’5 PF 2024, RTR). I was a big fan of Drew this winter but I am a bigger fan now after watching him go toe to toe with some of the better bigs in the class and producing more. Guys had a couple inches on Drew but they weren’t able to use those inches because Werkman worked them higher off the block, he fought harder to boards, he made quicker moves to the finish and his effort was better. Double-double guy.
