While most of the kids came from WA Supreme and the NXT PRO16 league, there are a bunch more 2026s to know, but these aren’t a bad bunch to start with.
Giovanni Moimoi | WA Supreme | 2026
Moimoi was a big rebounder over the weekend, crashing the glass on both ends of the floor. While his finishing could use some work, the lefty was able to make chances at the rim both on second-chance opportunities and from driving in off the wings. He was able to create action and draw some fouls, displaying a little bit of touch from the free-throw line as well.
Patrice Mpouli Patrice Mpouli 6'2" | SG Hamilton | 2026 State AZ | WA Supreme | 2026
Mpouli played up with the 16U’s and it was virtually the same story I saw from the high school season with his length creating tons of problems, allowing him to fight for rebounds even after they were brought down, and helping him scoop layup shots around outstretched defenders. He is a high-potential player that needs to be on your radar this AAU season.
Raylen Rigney Raylen Rigney 5'11" | SG Graham Kapowsin | 2026 State WA | BDH Elite | 2026
The guard from Rogers High School can really get going from behind the arc, but his overall game feeds off of defensive intensity and that is an area he has grown mightily over the last weekend. When Rigney is locked in on both ends of the court he can be a real difference maker. Keeping that consistency on both ends is key to his impact on the court.
Haady Mohamad | WA Supreme | 2026
This kid is long and was also one of the more active kids I saw this weekend, flying around the court and using that length to clog lanes and disrupt timing. He had great recovery speed and showed a will to be the first back in transition.
Joe Sterling | WA Supreme | 2026
Sterling is a rare freshman that plays up in the 17U bracket. However, he isn’t just suiting up, he’s making his impact felt, Sterling starts at point and has been a scoring machine for WA Supreme. He has a great looking jumper, good from behind the arc, off the dribble in the mid-range, and uses his pivot well to turn defenders around. He’s a big name just getting started.
Niko Christofilis Niko Christofilis 6'1" | CG Seattle Prep | 2026 State WA | WA Supreme | 2026
As you can see, I was pretty impressed with WA Supreme’s gaggle of freshman and Christofilis is one of my favorites to watch going back to the high school season. He doesn’t need a ton of room to get his shot away and has a great bag of moves to create space for the jumper or get his man to raise up so he can blow by to the rim.
Keaundre Morris Keaundre Morris 6'2" | SG Curtis | 2027 State WA | WA Supreme | 2026
Morris is another long kid that can add to the game in a lot of ways. He was scoring a bit, hitting the glass, handling the ball some to create opportunities in the half-court, and showed a good stroke from the free throw line. He will be a kid to watch that could make big strides in the next year or so.
