2026 wings who impressed (in alphabetical order):
Briggs Cunningham
Briggs Cunningham
Cunningham showed impressive athleticism for LTD Select, playing inside and out, handling the ball from end to end and defending every position. He’s a slasher who made some really nice passes out of penetration. He’s got length and jumping ability to play bigger than his size. He attacks the goal and has a nice floater.
Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis
Make a note of this name. The eighth grader played up with the 2026s and stood out. He’s a confident wing with the physique to play with older players. He’s lanky and springy. He plays in the paint, blocking shots and contesting bigger players. He was tough enough to get some ‘and-one’ buckets and rebound in the crowd. Davis is a smooth, slashing guy who will really bear watching in the future.
One of the grittiest, toughest players around, McGibboney does all the little things for a team to succeed. After making a really solid contribution for Hayden as a freshman, he is playing with a high-level group of players with Marcus Denmon this summer. McGibboney has the skills to play on the perimeter, the physique to body up and bang for rebounds in the lane, and the attitude to do whatever his team needs.
Highlights
Lachlan McRae
Lachlan McRae
McRae really impressed with his ability – despite his listed height – to get in the lane and do damage. He’s a solid, physical guy who can get shots off in the paint. McRae can also hit shots from deep. He was a weapon in the deep corner, catching and releasing quickly. McRae plays with great attitude and effort and is a fun player to watch.
Max Orr
Max Orr
Orr brings some of everything to the Spurs. He’s got the size to play just about every spot and has a great motor and feel for the game. He moves his feet to cut off drivers and has the length to contest shots from the perimeter. He’s a quick, handsy defender. At the offensive end, Orr passes with good vision, particularly making some nice entry passes from the perimeter. He can score from all three levels.
