Allen was recently named Gatorade State Player of the Year. Eli helped the Mavericks win back-to-back State Championships this season. Allen really can stuff a stat sheet with his play. He entered the tourney with 21 ppg, 9.1 assists, 7.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals this season.
Eli has a good lean frame and really sees the floor from out top. He does a nice job of elevating on his shot at times. He really embraces the team concept and plays the game extremely unselfish.
Dean helped the Tigers claim a Class AA State Championship. Sal is a crafty left-handed guard who keeps the ball low to the floor. He has the ability to score the rock from all 3 levels on the floor.
Dean has a quick first step to race by defenders and get to the cup. Sal really uses a quick crossover move to get into the gaps and touch the paint. In the opening round game vs Ravenswood HS, he finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Traugh surely left it all out on the hardwood for the Patriots. Cyrus will play football next year at Youngstown State University. He really plays the game with a good set of instincts. Cyrus really looks to get downhill to the basket while absorbing contact on the way.
Traugh was able to finish off balance several times today in a opening round win over Hedgesville HS.
Reeves was extremely effective here today with his shot making from behind the 3-point line. Austin took high percentage shots all day long on his way to scoring 20 points. Reeves is a deceptive athlete who really performed well on the foul line today.
Carte finished with 15 points in an opening round loss to Chapmanville Regional HS. Matthew is a creative guard and a 1st Team All-State performer. Carte is a gym rat who really likes to go left to right to finish at the rim. Matthew has a strong work ethic and never looked to take a play off.
He likes to use a head-fake move from time to time to advance the ball to the bucket.
